TMNT NECA Movie Figures 4 Pack From Wal-Mart / Are They Fake

If a deal is too good to be true then often times it's not true at all. Well I found a 4 pack of the TMNT Movie figures from NECA on Wal-Mart's online store. The question here is are they fake? If they are fake then are they passable? If they are passable are they a decent stand in for the NECA TMNT movie figures currently selling for about $400 a set? Let's talk about it.

I’m surprised you didn’t know Walmart allows third party sellers. It was not from Walmart. But you nailed it… too good to be true ,it usually is. Especially with NECA. I’ve seen some bad knock offs of those turtles.

they ones i bought at the store itself didnt come with the plastic bag over them, They also sell legit dbz and other anime figures at THE WALMART STORES NOT NOT ONLINE.

I would agree. I want the originals sure but for a fake they pass well on the shelf.

I put a bead of hot glue on the head ball peg to tighten up the joint. Mine looked just like this but the arms wasn't actually backwards, they were just twisted

I bought this complete 4 pack set from AliExpress for $43. The only problem is that the head is a little wobbly. And the boxes was a little dented. They are great and a cool alternative. Well at least the ones I got are.

I own the original set and the secret of the oooze and I can say they are pretty good bootlegs.

I'm actually glad I bought these guys because I passed on the in store Walmart sale. And we have to remember unless it says sold and shipped from Walmart specifically. the stuff they sell on the Walmart app is not from Walmart. They are scalpers/ 3rd party

Yeah it's a 3rd party using Wal-Mart as a distributor. It's like Amazon. I also notice the Best Buy does this now as well. Either way I don't think I hate these. Especially since the 2 packs cost $200 dollars now. I looked them up today at work to see if I really did waste my money but overall it would have taken me $400 to own the NECA right now from retail in mint.

I made that mistake with just two of the turtles from the same people too but luckily found Don and Leo at Walmart a month later gave the fakes to my buddy they are definitely noticably different

It amazes me that people dont see the Sold by on the site and wonder WHAT. I'm sorry to say almost every 4 pks are knockoffs especially at that price. Why wouldnt a toy seller that can get knockoffs sell them . doing the research is our part and them selling knock offs isnt a scam but im sure the person that spent the $ will. this is just part of the game .

I think they look amazing. I mean, at the end of the day. You’re putting them on your shelf, they look exactly like the movie Turtles from 1990, and unless you’re going to play with them or have people get up close, they look awesome. I might buy these.

Got the same ones.....they are completely loose af. Paint is horrible and they didn't even have the weapons in the boxes. I'm taking them to my local Walmart an return them and raise hell if they give me any problems.

Got the same ko's on ali express for 38 for all 4. 105 is a bit much for knock offs. Walmart does sell Chinese knockoffs of many things through their site. Amazon does as well.

Ok the legs look a little off. They looked painted the originals the plastic it's already that color. I'm looking at them and the neca ones are gorgeous.

The way the belts sit- especially Donatellos all the way up on his chest is just, too wrong for me to enjoy them. They'd be great for customs though!

I’ve ordered the 4 turtles off Walmart. On mine, the description said “NECA 1990 ….” I’m hoping they’re not bootleg or atleast look good enough to keep. Very disappointed Walmart allows this 3rd party seller crap. Ppl go to their site trusting that brand and get sold junk from scammers.

I bought mine at the store not online, for a 2 pack it was 60 something, it looks nothing fake, the ones i got are the normal size not he giant ones. The ones you find at the store are legit. I got all 4 from the 1st movie on different occasions and the ones from the 2nd on different occasions and the ones from the 3rd film before Christmas 2023, at the store not online and they are legit.

A few weeks ago I was at a toy event in dallas they were selling the SDCC vhs 4 pack for $650 I knew right away they were fake because of the box and the figures but man o man they were all fake and for that crazy price I just stare at them and laugh and walked away lol I have the real ones thankfully got mine from neca back when they came out be careful you guys

I just bought pack of 2 in a walmart store for 60 dollar. And seems like they are legit. I compared theme with the fake ones from aliexpress..wich i returned.but they told me ,that i can have it ..and refund my money.😂

Hello, some time ago I bought 2 Neca Terminator and Predator figures which were copies and I thought that if Walmart sold them they should be originals, as it turns out not, since they are external sellers. so I asked for a refund and sent them proof that the figures were fake and they refunded my money but they keep selling copies as originals at high prices. If you are going to sell copies, say so in the description and at the price that corresponds to a lower quality copy. greetings

Knock offs for sure. It’s really obvious once you get your hands on the real thing. The knock offs have been common for a long time now. Walmart has been allowing third party sellers and it’s lead to all kinds of knockoffs all over the website. Always check the seller. Luckily, if you’re after the real thing these have been showing up in store again as 2packs. I got mine recently at my local Walmart.

@@FandomWithReploidBill I got into the hobby pretty late and I’m pretty laser focused on tmnt but never was able to find these bad boys until about a month ago. My Walmart is AWFUL at stocking neca and I’d never even seen these on any shelf until then. First they got the Leo/don and I picked that up and the Mikey/Raph set showed up about 2 weeks later. I also see a ton of posts from collectors finding em in stores recently. Just keep checking that collector section sporadically and I’m sure you’ll find em. They’re totally worth it.

Bought my knockoffs on eBay all 4 for 80 bucks I was excited cuz I thought they were authentic then when they arrived my Leo had an excessively long neck and his head was so loose it wouldn’t stay straight and the crazy part is that my Raphael came separate from the torso in 2 pieces idk what it is about raph 😂

Yes it did. Like a fool I told myself I shouldn't get them unless I'm definitely getting all 4. Well here we are and had I bought that first set I would have been pressed to get the other and I never would have bought these at all. Such is life though I guess.

@@adizzlep5156 Yeah I skipped on getting the ooze ones. If I have to pick between the movies and I only want one set of movie turtles on the shelf. That's not to say I dislike the second movie I just really love the first.

The main way to tell if they are fake are the authentic ones from NECA articulate at the shell forward and back. The fake ones don’t move at all. Also the dark spots throughout the body are not as dark on the authentic version. The spots are lighter with another lighter color ring around each dark spot. Most of the fakes also have offset eyes painted. Hope that helps

They are fake Chinese knock offs I bought them as well and returned them immediately when I saw that they were 40 bucks on Ali express for all four of them I ended up buying real necas on Mercari from real sellers that are authentic and I can tell because I did a lot of research I mean I saw them in person too but they were not bad I just suggest paying half for them on Ali express instead but you might get them uglier or worse so idk man it’s up to you if you wanna keep them they don’t look that bad but yeah for quality for me I prefer real neca

im sure they were purchased as KO and returned to walmart for $$$$. ive noticed at alot of targets that the power ranger lightning collections arent even the correct figure in the packaging. so they were purchased and returned with the incorrect figure for $$$. not sure how that even happens cause i thought they inspected the package before accepting the returns.... idk

the plastic blankets over them are a dead giveaway I have been finding the 1990 2 packs at walmart for the last 2 weeks almost every walmart in my town at least 3 walmarts had both 2 packs here in melbourne florida and they are real the guy who stocks the neca said they got random cases in and even he was suprised I bought 2 sets because they are almost impossible to find in the wild it was truley a wtf moment
