4:53 - I can't believe she's 70 years old! 😱 She looks much, much younger. And thank you for this series - it's helped reinforce to me the desire to visit the local diners for a true taste of good old fashioned American food and culture.

Our family ate at Jeff's Family Restaurant last week. The food on the menu is homemade and made fresh daily. The country fried steak, mash potatoes, gravy and turnip greens were similar to those my late mother made. The family members are friendly and make you feel welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I'd love to eat my way thru tennessee. Definitely go here

One of the best meat and 3's I've ever had!! First had Jeff's in 2007 after giving birth to my son up the street at the hospital. Much better than Kleervu's up the street. Definitely check Jeff's out!!!

We are planning a trip to Murfreesboro, thought we would stop by. I just looked it up and it states it is permanently closed. So sorry to have missed it.

I have always loved to see black busineses succeed!

Everything looks delicious, but the okra looks like the exact same frozen, bagged okra they serve at places like Golden Corral. Why doesn’t anyone seem to know how to make real fried okra with cornmeal in an iron skillet anymore?

PEOPLE MUST LOVE THEIR FOOD THEY'RE ALL FAT AND HAPPY

I didn't like it. God Bless them and I wish them well but I will stick with Kleer-Vu on Highland
