With the tournament, it is fair that only one Earthrealm fighter competes. When the team first questioned it, Liu Kang mentioned that it's an advantage given to the host realm. Meaning when Earthrealm hosts the tournament, it'll be the same way with only one Outworld fighter. This also reflects the tower mode of the game.

I very much enjoy Shao's subtle character progression. His treatment of Reiko speaks volumes. He doesn't immediately dismiss or demean him. They're seated side-by-side at the banquet mere hours later. Reiko is still his chosen second whom he raised as his protege. Reiko is loyal in kind to his master and mentor. Shao is still a wretched person, but his motivations are less self-involved this time around. EDIT: To add to that, he is also far more honorable. He will not commit acts of cowardice or take cheap shots. The likes of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi disgust him, and he entirely *loathes* Bi-Han.

1:06:13 Liu Kang & Kitana had a similar exchange in the original timeline, that's what started their relationship

Here it is: So in this timeline Sub-Zero is Bi-Han (older brother, who got killed by Scorpion in MK9) Scorpion is Kuai Liang (younger brother who became Sub-Zero after his brother's death and later made peace with Scorpion). I miss Hanzo a lot, but this works well too

Ngl, I thought MK11 Sindel's design was the best, but MK1's iteration grew on me. She appears more majestic yet imposing by regality here and it matches her good nature.

You guys should watch the full story mode from IGN not from mk fire and ice cause it has some cuts if you watch it from fire and ice so you are gonna miss out on some scenes especially if it has some violence in it

In the original timeline Sindel was good and never killed her husband, she loved her daughter Kitana and when Edenia was conquered she was forced to marry Shoa Khan after she was resurrected by Shao Kahn, she was under his influence. Only when Liu Kang defeated Shao in MK3 she returned to her normal, good self and took back Edenia as it's ruler, until Shinnok invaded Edenia and held Sindel and Kitana prisoner. In Deception she would be freed from prison and would team up with Jade to rescue Kitana as she was that point Onaga's zombie. Only MK11 they rretconned her story and made her out to be evil from jump

Just a heads up. It seems you guys are watching the story mode video uploaded by MKIceandfire. I guessed this because they censor out all the blood and gore and some of the cutscenes. If you want a video that doesn't cut out the more messy violence, a channel called "Gamer'sLittlePlayground" has an uncensored full story mode video. After all, what's Mortal Kombat without the over-the-top blood and gore?

Jerrod’s tradition refers to the tournament participants being people who hold a specific position. The first opponent by tradition is the First Constable which is the title for someone who is essentially the chief of police. Li Mei holds that title so she participates. It’s not Sindel’s choice
