Thing is there's some holes in the stories about them tho since this and that doesn't make sense about the steering problems since there's a company and a customer experiencing these problems. That's what the 86 platform is. It's expensive to build cars today, a 400hp sports car which isn't a heavy pig is priced about right. The only between would be a turbo/supercharged 86/BRZ which would probably cost 35-40k. Even then you'll be giving up luxuries for performance.

Chris Smith tell me about it. I bought a $60k fully loaded 1500 last year and went to trade it in for a newer 4x4 mode. Only have 8k miles and they told me trade in is $28k 🤦‍♂️ but they resell the same truck as mine with 100k miles for $40k on their lots.

Think of the handling of the 86 on steroids with a hell of a lot more power. That's the new Supra. I drove one yesterday and it's incredible. For all the people saying they're worried about reliability. I don't know how many videos i've seen, including this one; that Toyota was heavily involved. Not just in tuning but the engine itself. Down to the nuts and bolts used. Toyota isn't about to sacrifice their rep for reliability and durability on such a low volume product. I'm not worried.

yeh, seems a good choice for him, he was at the limits of the s2000 for a while and it was getting a bit tired. Check out Adam LZ too, he's just had a garage crack the boost limiting on the ECU to exceed 20psi, video is pending for an actual power figure but it made 550hp last time so I expect it to be around 700hp now. Seems a strong engine.

C8 is nice but its 59k starting and no one really wants the barebones version. The Supra is 50k starting and will probably be able to be had in the 45-50k range next year when the C8 actually hits the streets. The corvette is going to be good for people that don't want to play with mods, Supra is the opposite.

The mk3 and 2 interior wasn't similar to the mk4. People don't realize this but all the supra gens were pretty distinct
