Gyomei, the Stone Hashira, is the oldest (27 yrs), biggest and strongest Hashira. So in Japan, he's basically their Senpai, but not exactly their leader or sensei. They all respect him.

He’s unrivalled in physical strength , has talent on par with a descendant of the first breathing (becoming a hashira in 2 months same as tokito) and that’s not even getting to his greater feats (won’t mention those due to spoiler stuff) so it’s really not hard to see why they revere him and consider him to be a big brother type.

i hate that people call this arc filler. This is all canon to the plot. And yes they purposely left out that detail about the mark and will go back into when fighting the rank 1 demon who also has a mark that we've seen before.

True, you can't write a good story if it's all just action action action. You need downtime to help develop characters and progress the story. Short break in between is always a good thing in story plots.

This is NOT filler. Though alot of it was anime exclusive. What Amane said at the end to them was muted because its a major plot point thats going to play a huge role later so for now they hid it only the hashiras will know that secret. Youre right the mark is a much bigger deal

"Give miss Tamayo my regards" 😉 We knew from this point on he knew of her and i was suprised and not at the same time that NOW they try to recruit her in a official manner. Its a great and big start in the new season. I want more backstory to the first breathers SO MUCH! since there is (like we saw and heard) so much which is unclear since there was noone to pass it on basicly!

Just to let you know yoriichi is not an ancestor of tanjiro instead, he is a friend of tanjiro’s ancestor simiyoshi and since yoriichi saved simiyoshi’s family. He decided to use sunbathing as a family tradition, and it passed on for generations until we got to Tanjiro❤

No I thought the crow was muzan aswell 😊 I’m so excited for this arc, I’ve read the manga and wondered how they would make this arc into its stand alone season because of how short it was in the manga. But it seems like the behind the scenes stuff will mostly likely get fleshed out abit more which will add to the story in a way that the manga didn’t. Sanemi (Wind Hashira) is the 2nd strongest Hashira only behind Gyomei. 3-5 is all debatable then Shinobu and Mitsuri kinda fall in place, but 1-2 is undisputed‼️‼️

@@crosscharayt986 Don’t know if I could confidently say Kyojuro, as much as I love bro, is stronger than Obanai and Tokito. Idk if you’ve read the manga and I don’t want to spoil it not only for you(if you haven’t) but the other commenters, but Mel and Bel also. But I’d put rengoku in 6th personally, now some official ranking could come out and prove me other wise but from my reading and what I’ve seen Obanai do, and Tokito being the only one to Solo and Upper Rank I can’t put Rengoku above them. IMO of course, completely respect yours as well.

@@2Cr4zyy Rengoku is basically the Jugo of Demon Slayer, he got paired up with someone virtually impossible to defeat. Even with Giyu & Tanjiro fighting alongside each other, it was considered out of the question to behead Akaza, as he can just simply regrow his head, he voluntarily allowed himself to be killed out of his own desire and wishes.

😂 im just going to say it, Stone Hashira is #1 of this generation of demon slayers. Not even up for debate as the overwhelmingly majority of the fanbase that has read the manga agrees on this. Besides the few giyu fanboy idiots that insist giyu is the strongest hashira, its like 95% agreed on that the stone hashira is HIM of this generation.
