Yeah, but the whole point was that she is choosing what is her own life and what she finds meaningful. I think it would have been weird to have her jump into a new relationship. Plus, there really wasn't much between the two. It would have been a bit of a reach.

Even though i low key wanted jung seok and roy together, but I realise, this drama is more about woman exploring her dreams, finding her life's purpose after being a doormat for 20 years. So it makes sense❤.. This drama also reminds me to never lose career no matter what happens in life. You never know, how a relationship might turn out later..

I loved this drama! However, one correction, she didn't know he was unfaithful until after she became a doctor. I won't give any spoilers out, but I highly recommend this. It was awesome..

I'm like every other person on here that would've liked them to have a happy ending. BUT with what she went through it was a good thing for her to respectfully wish for him to be HAPPIER. If there wasn't strings attached like two offsprings that she had with that B*STARD Then it would be easier for her to go on with her life. Sometimes people can overcome situations like that BUT Had she not been pregnant he wouldn't have ever married her. Along with all of the other stuff that happened throughout the Drama. Some divorces are VERY MESSY MESSY and you will always be reminded of the way you were treated and what you went through. YES you can forgive BUT You will never EVER forget. And YES you can heal BUT it doesn't mean that you won't remember!! So i acknowledge the fact that the writers/directors regarded the fact that most divorced couples with children whom had MESSINESS need to first heal themselves before going into ANOTHER relationship. The older you get yhe more you understand and avoid more heartbreak. YES it's a Drama but not all Dramas have happy endings like we want!!

Why in most Asian dramas, individuals never want to listen to an explanation. The lady's cancer was advanced, surgery or not plus chemo her prognosis was poor due to her cancer metastasis.

There are so many people in bad unhappy 1st, 2nd, 3rd....etc ,...etc marriages BECAUSE they just jumped into anothet relationship without healing their heart and mind first and MOST OF ALL loving themselves!! Yes I love it when the rescuer comes to save the day BUT SOMETIMES we should actually look at what really transpired in the damsels' life. Who's to say that they won't end up TOGETHER after a few years. A 2nd Season isn't impossible!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 BUT Mentally speaking I'm glad she chose to make her own happiness for once!!

Lady your kids are grown I'm pretty sure they can fend for themselves imr cut the apron strings already when I had my kids I went back to school shortly before my oldest son turned 7 (my second son was almost 3 and my daughter was 17mths old) I successfully earned my private investigator certificate and as a side business I started making and selling my own line of kids jewelry I proudly named after my beautiful kids I wanted to do more with my life then be a stay at home mom for the rest of my life

I don't like the fact that cancer is shown like death , u can do the chemotherapy and other procedure to treat it. Being a doctor as well as a cancer survivor, there is the bad reputation of cancer in the modern society too.

You think in black and white. Humans are complicated, and it’s not necessary for someone to be permanently crushed to recognize their flaws and atone. That’s what happened here. It would have brought Dr. Cha no pleasure to see the father of her children destroyed because she is not a spiteful person who spends her days wishing for others to suffer. She found independence, forgiveness, and happiness. The young doctor who liked her found happiness too and started seeing a woman who wanted to be with him. You want people to live in fear of karma rather than live as compassionate beings capable of growth. That speaks to your own character and is not a the writers’ problem.
