【Naruko Onsen Uba-no-yu Ryokan】
Naruko Onsen is the central hot spring resort of Naruko Onsen-kyo in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture.
Naruko Onsen-kyo is characterized by the diversity of its spring qualities. Eight of the eleven spring types in Japan are concentrated in Naruko. For this reason, Naruko Onsen is also called the "department store of hot springs".
"Uba-no-yu Ryokan" is an inn that symbolizes the abundance of spring water in Naruko, and has four different types of hot springs.
The inn has four baths using four different types of springs. The milky white sulfur spring "Kokeshi-no-yu", the open-air spring "Nakiko-no-yu", the glauber's salt spring "Yoshitsune-buro", and the "Kamewaka-no-yu" with a temperature of 38℃. Kamewaka-no-yu had an iron aroma and a brownish-brown color.
There are two types of rooms: inn rooms and Touji rooms, and we stayed in a Touji room. Each Touji room is equipped with a kitchen, so you can cook your own meals.
