This is the TV-movie pilot to the EISCHIED police series with Joe Don Baker, Alan Oppenheimer, Alan Fudge, and Eddie Egan, which started a year later. Originally 3 hours & 6 minutes airing in one evening on NBC, this was broken into 2 parts for distribution.
Also with Louis Gosset Jr., Roosevelt Grier, Eartha Kitt, Robert Hooks, Desi Arnaz, Jr., Christine Belford, George DiCenzo, Scott Brady, Julius Harris, Diana Muldaur, Ken Swofford, Milton Selzer, Joyce Van Patten, and former cop David Toma.

Having grown up a teenager in the 70s, I used to watch these network movies, finding most of them top-notch entertainment, right in the comfort of home, a huge benefit over having to go to a theater and pay. This film is as good as most anything movie houses had, great story, personal drama, excellent cast, a grade A network ratings winner from the 70s. I loved it.

Thanks for the upload. This is much better than I expected. Joe Don Baker is so convincing, I believe he's channeling himself. But, I'm finding this stressful, to watch!!!

Love the hard workj!. It's one of my favorites series from back in the day. Wouldn't you have "The Accused" and "Buddy System"?. Those are the only episodes missing!.
