Parents are too lazy and excuse making to take responsibility for their children's education. When they started firing teachers for not being social justice warriors, parents turned a blind eye. We now have three full generations of indoctrinated morons and parents STILL don't honeschool! Our country is lost because of "convenience". As far as the queer theory goes, my nephew, who is afraid to talk to his very liberal progressive parents about the subject because he knows they will ridicule him, has said to me privately that everything in the school is "gay and queer" stuff. He is not into it at all, but knows to keep his head down and his mouth shut about it.

Agreed. Back in the 70’s/early 80’s there were a few comedy shows on that made light of homosexual behavior. Growing up my siblings and I were never allowed to watch them. The biggest culprit was “Three’s Company”. Years later when I was in college I had a professor who said to us, “One day America will accept homosexuality”. All of us told him no way and he was off his rocker. He went on to explain. He said, “Look at the show “Three’s Company”. The whole premise of that show was that Jack had to pretend he was gay so he could live with 2 women. Every episode had references to Jack being gay and they were all funny. America will accept homosexuality through laughter.” We all just sat there stunned. Yet here we are now in 2024

Luckily my daughter goes to a school that has a high concentration of Latino’s. This particular demographic seems to reject the “grooming” culture that is so pervasive here in CA, mostly among the more affluent schools (mainly white people) and areas like Berkeley, etc. I pray that’s the one thing besides me, of standing in the way of her being surrounded by this agenda.

As for kids and sexuality, I understand that they are highly influencable, and still developing their social norms and preferences, so i am not really of the opinion that kids have settled sexuality. I, however, do not push one way or another in the class. I let my students come to their own conclusions. But as an agnostic, politically independent person, I see much to be critical of on both sides. I point my students at the education corporations and academic institutions as a target of critical analysis, not at the Democrat party or LGBT movement. Students come to their own conclusions about the agenda being pushed on them by academia.
