I love your videos but I have to say that this one may be my favorite one yet. Struck a chord with me - one of my favorite spots on earth is the Baltimore National Aquarium. They had a sea turtle there with 3 flippers named Calypso that recently died. Calypso was an icon and was the first thing my family would look for every time we'd go. Very touching to see what you covered in this video. Thank you for bringing us along!

What wonderful people - transporting, healing and caring for these turtles. My late, dear Mother would have loved this video so much - she was a latter day St Francis when it came to love for animals. Another superb landing from Captain Valerie, even in such gusty conditions. Sheer class.

I am glad to see good things being done right here in my State of Florida. The rescue was awesome and really fun to watch. Glad to have a front row seat in seeing Nature being rescued for a change. Thank YOU Steve, you've Got a winner here.

Man the Baron is such a beauty of a plane, I love it! The cabin looks good, the seats look good, console looks good. I am like makes me want one lol I can't even fly and don't have anywhere near the means to get one but I want one! I love the idea of a private airfield.

Terrific report, Stevo. Great to see the good being done here. We don’t see too many turtles here in he UK. Loved the face on Herme when he was being wheeled out. Reminded me of my face when my glider instructor told me it was time to go solo, many years ago!! Keep the good work up. Keith

She held the plane so straight on that grass runway, even with those power lines not more than 60 feet on the left. Very impressive.

You can blame us at the flight school at KSUA nearby just to the north for that large amount of traffic, We use that airport for landing practice cause of the good crosswinds it has daily. I recognised at least 3 aircraft that belong to our school from looking at that foreflight traffic at 10:48.

YYEars ago while I was still flying a good friend had a B58 Baron. Loved that thing. Another friend had a Debonair, which was essentially an A36. That thibg was so stable you could make turns with no yaw dampener and no rudder.

Great job Vale with assistance by SteveO. The Baron 58 Those big turbocharge engines are a handful as can be seen in the video by weathercocking :) Wow, thanks for showing you guys - I suspect many of the viewing audience was not aware that such a valued service existed. Now for the excellent news noting our worldly tizzy this past few months, the planet is healing from toxicity. Additionally, I suggest very few new turtles are arriving due to leisure boat injuries :)

Another great video Stevo. Keep them coming! That shot right around 5:00 to 5:30 or so (during the take off and take off roll) looks like the the left wing is almost scraping the trees. WOW, Beautiful! Just like captain Val 😊

Right after liftoff, the view switched to straight ahead, and you could see she had drifted left of centerline. It may have looked closer than it was, but it looked pretty damn close.

That's how the trees are trimmed each year. with the Propellers lol

Best to build airspeed, worry less about centerline. Expect to be thrown around popping out of a tree lined runway. The camera angle also made it look dodgy.

Nothing dodgy here. Val lives here and knows the grass strip and trees! They look way worse due to the wide angle camera lens distorting the view.

Fantastic, love the private airstrip and the turtle rescue is awesome. I live on the west coast of Florida and turtle nesting season is a big deal here, seeing the larger ones rescued and returned is a sweet story. Can't wait to see more. And that Baron 58TC ... beautiful airplane!

Betch 'ya that you and Valerie would find the turtle place that we visited pretty interesting. Its located South of Cuyutlan, State of Colima in Mexico at the El Tortugario Ecologico. Worth the trip if you ever get over that way.

I keep telling people Florida is the place to be for general aviation flying. FYI, Texas is equally appealing with the exception of Texas not having as much water . For such a short flight, the view was, as always, awesome. The drone view was superb. Nice flight.

Unfortunately the few times that I have been able to fly to Texas it’s always been overcast and rainy. Hopefully my luck will change the next time I am there!

Rob M try flying in California way too much traffic. I lived in South Florida for 30 years flying GA and then airlines and now flying Medivac in SoCal. LA is worse as beautiful as it is.

The captain did a very nice job of landing in gusty winds. If you notice on final that she does not overreact with the controls. Very smooth landing. If anybody knows what the name of this song is, please reply. This channel always has really good background music.

Excellent video. It’s always cool 😎 to see animal rescues. I also always enjoy the Baron flights you get to make with Captain Valorie. She’s really a fine pilot 👩‍✈️ and really keeps her in the stressful airspace cluttered with traffic. Very good guys. Thanks for the ride.
