He trained with Gohan AND Piccolo for the Androids. He trained with Gohan for Cell. He couldn't train with anyone else for the Buu arc, cause he was again dead. There's actually a much better argument for that based on the filler training shown between the King Piccolo Saga and the third WMAT against Piccolo. Goku is seen actively training to move faster than lightning, with it being possible that he was FTL by the time Raditz showed up, since he was still above Piccolo, who had kept training between DB and DBZ.

Goku was also able to take roshi’s shades and put them on before the solar flare could hit his eyes and roshi didn’t even notice until he saw goku standing there with them😂

Even if he did go all out, Goku’s got some resistances to soul attacks that go as back as King Piccolo era Dragon Ball, so he’ll be fine even if Ichigo goes all out.

You bring up a good question, and in terms of pure hands, I think Naruto and Goku are pretty close but I gotta still give it to Goku. The man's technique is pretty much flawless, and he is very much a combat genius

Those kinds of feats are misleading, as the human eye cannot reliably track anything moving above mach 3 to mach 4. The USAF did tests on it in the late 90s and early 2000s, and should be reasonably easy to find online. Dodging light is a clear indicator of speed, but faster than the eye can track isn't hugely accurate.

I would agree with Naruto and Luffy getting done easily by Goku...but not Ichigo. Ichigo killed a character that transcends time, I believe he could win against Goku. The reason? Goku's abilities hasn't changed much even after Ultra Instinct. I've heard there's a new ability in the manga but nothing in the anime as of yet. Other than his usual attacks and his increased power - he's the same. Ichigo has so many techniques in his repertoire and he has essentially reached godhood.

He has the best chance simply due to his progression speed, it only took him 3 months in the dangai (a few minutes in reality) to go from not being to contest with base aizen to fighting him after he evolved multiple times, becoming so strong that no captain could even sense him, let alone fight him. He was considered godly and capable of fighting everyone in the verse with ease at the time. During his Ywach fight he even admitted that he still has no idea what the best way to use his power is and his Horn of Salvation transformation is essentially him testing out what hes capable of. His HoS is a representation of only his hollow powers, with him still having shinigami and quincey powers, with training and fulling being capable of controlling all his power at the same time, who knows what he'll be capable of. Hopefully in the best season of Thousand Year Blood war, we get to actually see what HoS is capable of, since the manga disrespected tf out of it.

Fr I do believe Ichigo could potentially stand a chance. I remember Aizen at one point had such high spiritual pressure that normal souls literally just disappeared around him. I do not know if ki translates to spirit energy but if it doesn’t maybe Ichigo could bring his spiritual pressure up to a point Goku would have a hard time handling. Plus even though the reason was never given for it Ichigo has legit come back from the dead on his own twice (against kenpachi and against ulquiorra) so I think he might be almost unkillable hence why ywach was so scared of him he broke his bankai immediately (that’s just a theory of mine tho)

I don’t necessarily disagree but something I just can’t get passed is how would sengoku even know how much power it would take to “destroy the world” also it’s not like he needed to lie as you said but I think sengoku’s statement says more about how infamous and powerful white beard and the gura gura no mi were seen and not necessarily a measure of actual attack damage. I have 2 reasons for saying that 1) if white beard could destroy the world w the gura gura no mi, how wasn’t akainu literally obliterated after white beard punched him 2) the gura gura no mi is considered the most powerful devil fruit but the devil fruit with the highest attack damage is actually the magu magu no mi which would be a direct contradiction with the story if the gura gura no mi actually had the power to destroy worlds- which leads me to believe that Oda was just trying to create suspense and hype for white beard’s final fight. If you’ve made it this far I just want to say I don’t think white beard is weak or that the gura gura no mi isn’t op but one piece just isn’t the kind of anime where characters would have the power to destroy the worlds

it's an obvious exaggeration. the dude's greatest feat was causing tsunamis to approach the nearby saboady island. and only a section of saboady needed to be evacuated. the rest of the world doesn't feel shit, because his earthquakes don't shake the entire freaking world.

@@ToasterXD well I think he has a fair point. Travel speed vs “combat speed” more accurately reaction speed, or how fast he can throw a punch, is an important distinction. Because Goku CAN travel faster than the speed of light, but luffy can’t. The two can both react faster than light, but like you implied in the video with the speed of Goku, luffy’s reaction speed is irrelevant.

I think that it is considered that the characters have a perfect control on their hits and techniques, and so the almost entirerity of the power is only on the opponent

Even so, the upper-tier of Dragon Ball is planet destroying strength. Out of all the Big 3, only Ichigo is EVER shown to exist anywhere NEAR that level of power. Naruto and Luffy are cool, but neither of them can blow up the moon. They'd both lose to the 2nd roster Z Fighters, never mind the big ticket players like Goku, Vegita, or Piccolo.

After the worlds merge there won't be a boundary (garganta) so it will technically be gone. Plus the merge was the result of the linchpin being removed which would result in the soul society being destroyed (the planet) and the world merge.
