Definitely one of Toby's more fun songs. Thanks for sharing it with Ash. I would really recommend American Soldier (maybe even for the 4th of July). It's one of his most beautiful and powerful songs.

toby's 'American soldier' is perfect for the 4th of July. Toby also has a ton of other fun ones like this. Examples, 'Trailerhood', 'How do you like me now?'. 'I wanna talk about me', ' love this bar' or 'Who's your daddy?' to name a few. He has a fun duet with Willie Nelson too, called 'Beer for my horses'. And, ALWAYS get his video's. They are the best.

Toby Keith was great. You should watch his comedian friend Rodney Carrington as well. They both wrote a movie together called "Beer for my Horses". Which later became a Toby Keith Song.

FYI: Toby Keith wrote the song Beer For My Horses first around 2003, then a few years later Toby and Rodney wrote the script and shot the movie. Rodney & Toby are great together! RIP Toby!

I’m a truck driver in oil fields of Canada, there is 1 mile of gravel road that has been “up graded” with lot of exposed clay, when it rains it’s a mess. Last week we had 4 heavy truck sliding off the road. Dispatch played Truck Got Stuck by Corb Lund on our comm radio. Fun little song dry humor.

Great 4th of July song. Trace Adkins “Arlington”, another one would be “Til the last shots fired”. Be ready for a tear drop. Another great song from Trace Adkins is “Rough and ready”. Both of you would get a laugh an enjoy this song. Not a 4th of July one but comical in a way country folk versus rich city folk. Lol. Not sure why many have not reacted to that song yet.
