This is the most heartfelt song I’ve ever heard as a songwriter myself. It literally brought tears to my eyes and brought me to my knees. This is the type of songwriting that is missing in our music today and this is the type of songs that make my favorite artist of all time since 1993 the man he is today. He’s not just a performer to me he’s a wonderful human being who I Love ❤️ in my world and he makes my world a happier place. So, thank you Toby Keith Covel for my Happiness ❤ Debbie Sue ps. Clint loved all your movies too..

Toby Keith is candid and honest !;And one of the great things about Toby he's a good listener. And that's one of the secrets of being a big success. You're willing to listen and learn from it. I applaud Toby Keith remarkable singer, songwriter and the nicest things you'll see about him his boots are on the ground. He doesn't put on airs. And that's hard to do in this type of business. People forget who they are just be yourself. Bravo Toby encore! 🤠🇺🇸🙏🌹 God Bless America and God bless Toby Keith

Saw the movie , Eastwood is a genius , Toby Keith wrote this song , he's a genius , I love the rendition of the song done at the Opry , I listen to it every morning , the lead guitar is great , Clint Eastwood is one of Hollywood's few greats left , a true Patriot as I'm sure Toby Keith is , that song is absolutely inspirational and so meaningful .

As my age climbs this song resonates with me. I've lost some good, good friends who let the old man in and he took'em out early. Depression, alcoholism, you name it, Toby's song about Clint could take on so many storylines and that is what makes good lyrics in a song great. My bet is lots of people less colorful than Clint and Toby will play this song at the end of their lives. It's that powerful.

Toby is a great motivator to our military, to the people and on a minute's notice Toby can write a song for the occasion. But that's who he is.

I watched the movie the other night, and as soon as I heard this song, I loved it and knew I had to find out who sang it. I felt it was "Springsteen-esque" in it's writing. I was a little surprised to see it was sung by Toby Keith, but I immediately told myself, "well shit, Toby's done it again".
