I never intended to be a “proper KZfaqr”.
I've always liked photography and because I have the equipment, I started making this videos to record the evolution of my plants and share it with my friends, also hoping to convert some... :)
I started posting these videos on another channel that I have, older, initially dedicated to my painting and illustration work. As I haven't painted for a few years, I started posting random videos there, among which, some of those on this channel now. As the cactus videos started to get some views, and because I plan to resurrect the painting channel sometime next year, I decided to create this channel to separate things as soon as possible.
I never thought of making a channel dedicated to plants, even more, being still at the beginning of my experience in this area. It's not that I in the past have never gained any knowledge about some of the plants I have today, because a few decades ago I started to be interested in the maintenance of a genera of snakes native from Southern Texas and the Chihuahuan Desert, and collected all the information I could about their habitats, including the plants that occur in that region.
This is a very small channel, but it has grown a lot more than I could have expected. And somehow I feel the responsibility to live up to your expectations. My commitment is to try to publish videos whenever possible, as long as they have some relevant information, or just to showoff the beauty of these plants. As I've written here a few times, I'm no expert, and I'm also here to learn.
Thank you very much!
