I’m in my first year of uni. However. I have the right partner, I feel we can easily support a baby financially. I decided it’s time I’m not waiting any longer. What’s the worst that can happen?

@JA-xv3qp
@JA-xv3qp 3 жыл бұрын
@@KrisyKreme yes we are 11 weeks pregnant currently. Baby is due in late November, which is not long before we break up for the holidays. My uni was very kind and supportive and told me that I should take off at least two weeks around my due date but encouraged me to take off more, which combined with the holidays will work out great. While I’m taking the “break” I will be able to access the seminars online but they won’t be watching my attendance. My partner will be working from home too. I’m not saying that it’s going to be easy, in fact I’ll probably be regretting it at one point but I am incredibly lucky and grateful for having an amazing support system in my families and partner and my friends and I don’t feel like it is such a Herculean task this way.

@@MommaDee23 the surrogates are women who choose to do it. They are also paid quite well.
@kinn4086
@kinn4086 3 жыл бұрын
@@deimoslyric Them being paid quire well is a large part of the problem. Women in need who act as surrogates don't necessary choose to do it, but may do it due to financial needs. In Canada, surrogacy is strictly altruistic--meaning the women are NOT "paid quite well" but only paid for immediate expenses/needs--which eliminates the possibility of abuse.

For some reason, this video is like, leaning towards the negative? I don't know.. Like everything sounds sort of on the negative side of the truth, ish? I'm in my second and this video is like, nerve racking a bit though I know for me it wasn't that bad. Sending this to some teens I know wanting to be moms though, ha. Side note if you do have PPD, please don't feel guilty, it happens, just reach out to your doctor, your baby will be fine.

just because yours werent bad doesnt mean everyone's werent bad. it is important to spread the awareness and let the women know that all these things exist. that your body wont jump back to normal after giving birth. many believe that after pregnanacy everything will be back to normal and thats why most of them gets depressed. they are not prepared.

I don't appreciate that nurse's suggestion that it's the pregnant mother's fault for gaining lots of weight, since she must have the "eating for 2" mentality. I didn't have that mentality for either of my pregnancies, and I still gained around 40 pounds both times. The second pregnancy, I even struggled with nausea for a good chunk of it, and couldn't eat any sugar at all. (Anything sugary made me violently ill.) I also eat a very healthy diet. It's not my fault my body really goes into "fat storage" mode when I'm pregnant. I don't have that problem outside of pregnancy.
