I love her so much! She clearly had a lot to do with the changes for the better in how the press and the movie industry see and treat women and, more importantly, how we treat ourselves, and I'm forever thankful to her for that. I'm just another human being, from a completely different country and culture from hers, but she's in my heart. Such a beautiful strong soul that is helping to make this world a better place to live in, by example.

She wasn't just 'a part of it' I remember 20 years ago it seemed she was the only A list actress not only talking about body positivity but also appearing in films clearly not a size 0 (she was always below average weight and size but bigger than tiny) ....she was 100% the leader for this acceptance in Hollywood.

Very strange omission of Sense & Sensibility, a big hit which was shot when she was about 18 and reportedly protected by Emma Thompson, who won an Oscar for that screenplay. Really odd.

Stop smoking altogether or reduce to one or two cigarettes a day. Stop over doing your hair. Do your hair yourself and not with a stylist. Don't straighten or brush it so much. Stop dying it blond. Cut it shorter. Do your makeup yourself. Stop putting so much makeup powder. Choose your own cloths in the morning. Don't wear something brand new every time. Dress like a mother. Your daughter Mia took your confidence from you. Absolutely relate to her more assertively. Do not be afraid or hesitant with her. Bring a man into the house and show Mia how much of a witch you can be. Do not be lenient, sorry, or forgiving until she starts acting like a good daughter again. Do not allow her to see you unassertive even for a second. The moment you feel powerless or about to be defeated, throw her away at the spot. Let your man protect you. Learn to sing. Reconnect with your art. Everybody can learn how to sing. If you can't sing with a soul you can't be an actor anymore.

There was another one recently wth was it called it was bizarre a brother inherits his father’s estate instead of the first born son and something about a dog as lame over the top and then there was yet another so bizarre I can’t remember it and yet another all of which depict the Europeans and British as absurd but that’s been the standard for centuries system a with way too much time on their hands that’s “creativity” a bunch of numb nuts

My gut feeling tells me that if a new movie about Betty Broderick comes out, Kate Winslet would probably portray Betty Broderick with Leonardo DiCaprio would portray Dan Broderick, Margot Robbie would portray Linda Kolkena Broderick, and Alyson Hannigan would portray Kerry Wells who was the prosecutor in the trials that put Betty Broderick behind bars. Titanic fans are not going to like what I’ve just said.
