Jace was a kid who was taken in by alec's family as a kid and they developed a very close bond and ended becoming parbatai, a shadow hunter transition where the souls of two people are bonded together, something considered closer then family or marriage. A lot of thing happen that I can't quite explain in a comment but basically Jace was raised by the main villain and is one the most powerful shadowhunters who will do what ever he wants while Alec is a very rule follower by the books type person and the two can be at odds sometimes but they always come together to save eachother in the end.

:O I was so excited when I saw you reacted to another Shadowhunters video!! But you're correct, all of them are very attractive xD. Basically, Alec's family took in Jace and they became best friends, brothers. Side note, Alec did have a kinda crush on Jace, but got over it (most people from what I've seen - and I believe it's said that way in the books - Alec just subconsciously picked a safe option). But basically the bond means they're connected, feel some of each other's feelings and stuff. Alec screaming was because of the agony of Jace dying. They're one of those duos that always gets brought up if you ask for platonic duos or brother relationships. Anyway, loved the reaction!! Hope you do more soon (if you want to of course) :)

Jace and Alec sure have a great friendship but Alec's lovestory in the show is even better. You should check out "Magnus and Alec - Fire on Fire" or "44 reasons to ship Malec" by Fandomswillxcollide 😊

Love Jace and Alec, best brothers lol. I’m sure others have already explained the parabatai bond so I won’t bother. And yes, they are all EXTREMELY attractive lmao. You should definitely react to a funny Malec video, Magnus (Alec’s boyfriend) is definitely the funniest character on the show.

I love this TV series so much adapted & taken from my favourite novel series, I’m hoping that Vampire Academy TV series is done just as well as this is my number 1 favourite novel series
