I can't even explain the plot of this series. It's just mind-blowing! There are so many things that happened and everything is so confused until the very end. And this series has a terrific ending. I am very grateful for your reactions! I really admire you!

I’ll say it to the very end, this is the absolute best show of all time. Perfectly thought out - the foreshadowing is ridiculously impressive! The character development is unmatched. Such an amazing journey. Also has the best series finale of all time! Highly recommend watching it!!

I think it's hard to explain the story of the show because it's so complex and rich, but the moral of the story is: if life had no beginning and no end, it wouldn't be worth living - so cherish the moments that you do get with people instead of regretting not having more. I can only recommend this show. I have never seen any other show even come close to how good the writing on this show is. Thank you for always going into your reactions blind, it makes it even more interesting to watch :)

Yes, there was a movie with Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt - which is amazing btw. But the TV Show is way more. Deeper, more emotional, smarter. The first season is loosely based on the movie - everything after that is too hard to explain here. Also I don't want to spoiler anything. It's thought out from beginning to end. No filler bullshit or the writers trying to write themselves out of holes. There are none. Just watch this amazing series. It has the best finale EVER! Better than Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under, Battlestar Galactica... It will blow your mind.

Spoilers: The catalyst of the story is that they find Cassie's body in the CDC in 2043. She left a message with Cole's name in it. Because she is the reason Cole travels back in time in the first place, she HAS to die in order for them to have ever met. Causality means that her death is inevitable and they can't avoid repeating the loop that started everything in the first place. The rest is, well, very tricky and intricate since it's time travel but it's one of the best written shows I've ever seen.

This show is my absolute favorite!! It is THE best time travel show in existence, and yes that includes Doctor Who! The original idea from the movie was fleshed out and became something soo much more. It really delves into "what would you do?" moral conundrums like what Cassie says in the video, "The one is worth all the rest" but would you do it? Kill the world to save the one? Like the other comments, it really is a show that, like time travel, has no real beginning or end. The show has things said in the FIRST episode that eventually mean something in the LAST. It has truly massive rewatchability because of that. You could watch it 3 times over and still notice new details, new threads that weave through the entire show. It's very clever and the writers outdid themselves with tying in all the little pieces to create a cohesive whole and a spectacular ending the likes of which I have never seen before or since.
