Life has no rules making complaining about it pointless but when a competition that has set rules and they inconsistently enforces them or bend rules to block people then you have full right to complain. Understanding context is important.

When you were looking at getting him should have absolutely no bearing on them allowing you to sign him, you’re owned by the same guy who owns the team he plays for, you would get a beneficial deal because of that reason so you’re banned from signing him because that’s unfair, end of - it’s a fair rule, you’re only upset because it means United can’t benefit from it 😂

This is not a UEFA or Man city issue this is an Ineos should have never got their bloody 25percent in the first place and allowed Qatar to buy the club issue. Unfortunately the rules are the rules, people can cry about city but their actually smart about the Savio thing, meanwhile as usual this club is incompetent, this is an ineos issue I am sorry. Stop blaming the macros please. This situation just exposes poor management. Finding ways to outsmart uefa it's just good management and shows that City has profesionals that do their job for the club. Also, the rule makes total sense. The clubs with big budgets could take the 2-3 stand out players from teams that will be competing with them in the next season champions league. Uefa try to keep it fair and help smaller teams have a chance.

Didn't Man City sign Savio? That's a player owned by a City group club who aren't in UEFA competitions. They signed him as their record signing, but amazingly didn't play a single minute for them and was loaned out straight away to Girona. And now at City. Crafty rule bending

Troyes is a City Group team. Savio was their record signing but didn't play a single minute and was loaned immediately to Girona, another City Group team. There was no intention for him to play for Troyes. He was signed for Girona, with the possibility of going to Man City if he does well there. Which wouldn't be allowed if he was signed by Girona instead of Troyes. Again, crafty rule bending. @@Iiamkellyq

If City get away with this because Savio is technically a Troyes player, Sir Jim should sell Todibo for free to FC Lausanne-Sport with an immediate buyout clause, and United should buy him that way. Joke of a competition, governing bodies should have banned multi-club ownership years ago, all it does is make teams not want to compete.

It's the other way round. They'd have to sell him to another of their clubs that's not in europe(if they have any idk) and then loan him back to Nice

Fairly obvious why it was all quiet on Todibo deal as INEOS knew it was a non starter....or they r ignorant of the rules.

To be honest things are not going ourways. It might seems to have only two signings this season. We may pull off zirkzees and a cb's deal of fair price . Other deals are not possible realistically on the basis of financial fair play. Amrabat may be given an offer too.
