Echoing another comment, I'm really glad you've done an MP7 video. Recently bought mine and found the working parts to be really sticky. The bolt wouldn't always go into battery and it just felt off. A good clean later and it's tremendous. Thanks Ollie

No worries, I will be doing some more MP7 videos. I'm always dubious when something doesn't work and my usual go-to is to give it a bloody good clean and 9 times out of 10 it sorts it!! Glad you found the same 😀

@@OllieTalksAirsoft found that cleaning, much like real steel, makes all the difference. Do you use regular silicon spray or any other gun oils? Heard that silicon isn't great for the MWS
@OllieTalksAirsoft2 жыл бұрын
@@Steve_281 I just use silicone spray on everything basically. Have done for over 20 years and all my guns still work so i don't think it can be that bad. If you want to use oil you have to be careful not to get it near the hop or nozzle. Whereas if silicone gets on the hop rubber it just messes up the accuracy for a bit so you can be a bit more care free with its application.

Would love to see more mp7 videos, a detailed disassembly video would be great as there’s surprisingly not many vids out there in English that show nice detail.. I’m particularly interested in the trigger bar and firing group cus mine is sticky and I’m trying to diagnose it. I know it’s a semi common issue, perhaps you have experience with it?
@OllieTalksAirsoft2 жыл бұрын
Not yet but I'll see what I can find out. Have you asked anyone on the discord group for help? That's literally what I do! I do really love the MP7 i got it just before covid hit so it hasn't had much time out as I would have liked but yes I agree it needs more attention.

@@OllieTalksAirsoft I had the sleepy trigger so much I didnt want to use it. Then I had a strange stoppage. On checking inside there was a lose piece of metal floating about. A bit more investigation and found it was end of the arm which activates the bolt lock. Bow it runs perfectly. I can live without the bolt lock

I had an issue where I would send the bolt into battery after charging but it wouldn’t go all the way, cleaned it and sprayed that up with some silicone seems to have resolved the problem.

It's always the way, clean and lube and it's probably fine.

Hi Ollie, I know that’s an old video but I bought this replica today. Are those the only parts i need to oil? The nozzle, the whole nozzle body that you took out? basically from the insides and the body itself, nozzle, trigger unit a couple of drops?
@bowmancf2 жыл бұрын
It happened to me today I think it’s because it’s got too cold soon as I stopped firing and put in a warm room the nozzle went forward and went back to normal
@OllieTalksAirsoft2 жыл бұрын
I think you're right it only seems to happen in cold weather, I was going to see if any of the laylax Dyna piston heads may fit as that may be a solution 🤔

With no bb in magazíne the mp7 let me keep firing. The bolt don't staty back. what could be the problem? thanks for your time and your videos.

its probably a worn bolt catch, I need to dig in and have a look but it doesn't really bother me too much, just a bit annoying sometimes.

Hi Ollie great video. May i get your thoughts on the tokyo marui mp7. How is it performing? Is it true it's problematic? eg: sleepy trigger, broken back plate etc. Or is it a good gun to have?
@OllieTalksAirsoft2 жыл бұрын
That's a tough question because as you allude to half the community raves about how good it is but it does have some inherent flaws. Ive maybe used it in 10-15 games so me having issues so early on isn't very good. But as with most things a clean and lube got it working. I would say there are definitely better GBBRs out there and probably better gas SMG's as well, but of the MP7's on offer the TM is probably the best out of the box in terms of reliability and consistency. At least it doesn't chop BBs and the range and accuracy are decent enough even for woodland. They hold a good second hand value too so if you didn't like it they're usually pretty easy to move on. "Englefield. Echo" has some great gameplay videos with her TM MP7 GBBR, worth checking out.

Bro how often you clean your gbbr and gbb pistol?
@OllieTalksAirsoft2 жыл бұрын
It depends on how much I use them but after maybe 3 game days I'd be thinking of giving it a wipe down. Usually I do it when I see some sort of performance issue. Like slow cycling, bolt lock not working, pretty much any issue, first off give it a clean.

@@OllieTalksAirsoft thanks dude, how’s it holding up? I’ve been looking at getting a guarder or creation nozzle but hard to find in stock
@OllieTalksAirsoft Жыл бұрын
I had a creation because I heard they were good but it broke so im back to the original nozzle and its holding up fine. the creation recoil spring isn't noticeably different to the stock one either so id save your money and spend it on a laylax rear sling mount which replaces the rear pin. that's an upgrade worth having.
