I don't understand why Japanese people are loved all over the world. They refuse to show us who they are, they impose formalities, they lie all the time, they criticize foreigners, but they are surprised when they are criticized themselves. They pretend to be good people but refuse to acknowledge their cultural issues. If they show the same attitude, how can you tell if they are good persons? These people have serious issues. They don't deserve a good reputation.

Actually no only the dekasegui ( wich is the japanese who came live here in Brazil ) are allowed to go work and live in japan without restrictions, only the brazilians who have japanese descendants are allowed to work in japan, for the rest of us only if you marry a brazilian japanese descendant or a japanese citizen, I'm descendant of germans so I got my german citizenship, today I live in Dusseldörf but things are getting ugly here in europe, the politicians here are doing a lot of shit. By the way Brazil has the largest japanese community outside japan, its about 1,5 million japanese descendants living in Brazil, many of them go back to japan for obvious reasons.

I'm brazilian too (not nikkei, but italian relatives), and despite all the cultural differences and never ending "special" treatment (no matter how many years you live here, you will always be treated as the tourist that can't speak japanese or use the damn chopsticks) I like this country the most because people are always looking for more knowledge, and virtually every place is a good place to read a book, no matter if it's early morning or midnight. Simply can't imagine going back to Brazil anymore.

I went up the twin towers in Kuala Lumper, also the Tokyo Metropolitan government towers to be exact. Also the tower in Yokohama over looking over the city also the Yokohama bridge.Also visited China town while there. We stayed in Nishihara the new Tokyo Hotel for 3 nights.
