【Tokyo Photography】Super-Takumar 50mm 8 Element with SIGMA fp

Pentax Super-Takumar 50mm F1.4 8 Element version is a rare predecessor to the 7 element version. Some say it has the most beautiful Bokeh. I put it to test on my photowalks in Tokyo and also compare it with the 7 element Super-Multi-Coated version. Have you used either? Which do you prefer?

@@KazuoItoga They sure do. I have a few Chinese lenses from the 60s. Complete junk but so much fun. They are local versions of old Pentax and Nikkor lenses.

Do you know how to see if it's a 7 or 8 elements version? I mean from the outside, I want to know about mine now 😅

Hi! Usually the serial number is under 1,400,000. The red infrared line is on the right side of the 4 line, and the rear element curves out quite a bit from the casing.
