the 037 and the Kimera version are my dream car no stop. Even with all the tricks the absurd amount of engineering and driving skill to create a RWD platform that could beat Quattro for the manufacturer title in 1983 with an incredibly attractive body has forever imprinted this car as something absurd, ridiculous, and impossibly desirable. When people say they don't make them like they used to, where every other rally car then and since is a precisie and mechanical instrument the 037 is a dancer as dangerous to drive as it was beautiful to watch obliterate a track in such a perfect storm I couldn't help but fall in love. What a beautiful machine.

Its not a restomod. It isnt restoring an existing car, nor is it a modfiication.

@@Agraviadore The Evo37 has a Lancia Montecarlo / Scorpion as its base, given it is only the center, both doors and the windscreen in the front and the back that remains. To me the Evo37 is still to be considered as a restomod as the defining feature of the car has the original car mid-shell. The front and the back are completly new and built from scratch but even Kimera Automobili considers the car as a restomod on their website e.g. By embracing the Restomod philosophy, Kimera Automobili takes this concept to the extreme. By combining the style, flavor and charm of one of the most legendary racing “queens” of the 1980s, with the characteristics of a modern car in terms of technology, quality and performance, the EVO37 is born.

@@silly_G33se In order for it to be a restomod, each Evo37 would require a geniune original Lancia 037 chassis donor. Thats what restomod is by definition.

One of my favorite cars! And a hell of a video, congrats Dino and Larry, the tour on Italy are simply amazing, next year another one please and BTW on to France and another to Uk. Please some one ask Luca if none of the clients ask for a rally version, I mean roll bar, backets, ALS, just like if you can race this one of top level! If I have money for sure I ask for this!
