I saw them with Tom and with Matt and with Matt it was so dull, Mark been the only one to make jokes and not having Tom to bounce off just didn’t work and Matt’s vocals weren’t exactly the best, it was either sounding quite soulless or he was just yelling, and he lacks stage presence too when he was with blink

It's because they are older now. And they had a lot of years of being bitter with each other. I don't think it's forced though. This is just how they've always been like when they've been friendly with each other. It would be weirder if they acted normal. Remember they've known each other since they were teenagers.

@@Matt92Machinehmm I uno, I think had they come out with a killer unexpected type of sound on their new album with just absolute bangers back to back, and displayed this image of utmost confidence and talked less and just went ham on playing a big loud and long setlist…now that could be a blink as this brand new type of band even in their old age. Or even if they did something unexpected and played enema and jacket in full back to back but didn’t announce it, just walk out on stage and play both albums, that would put fans and the internet in a frenzy. It’s really quite simple for artists to realize the obvious. But they’re bored and over it. They’re just going thru the motions doing the same old show, walk out to space odyssey and play the singles.

Nah it’s still genuine and they can tell they’re just having fun and not taking things seriously, they’re clearly never gonna fully grow up and that’s a good thing, no one wants to turn into a boring serious adult

@@mikeheroes5451Every band has to play the singles live, there’s song they can’t just not play. But when I saw them last year they sprinkled enough of the One More Time singles and other stuff that made it feel fresh. So don’t downplay their current live shows cuz they don’t just “play the singles” unless it’s a festival where they have to play the ones everyone will know They already did Enema in full for the anniversary, so they probably won’t do that again until the next big anniversary, it’d be pointless for them to just randomly play one of their albums in order 2023 has been peak live blink since the reunion, they sound tighter and better than they have done since 2003 (I know people like to say 2004-2005 were the peak but all they did was rush songs cuz they hated eachothers guts and got quite sloppy) and they’re having the most fun they have had in a long time and they’re clearly not forcing the jokes and just having a good time
