He signed a contract with Fox for 350 million. I don't think it was all about the money doing the roast. He did the roast to stay in the spotlight as well as give a platform for everyone connected to the dynasty to air things out.

Clearly Tom does not understand the concept of a roast.🙄Watching just one Comedy Central roast would have clued him in. If you sign up to be the center of attention, as Tom clearly has done time and again, you've got to be able to take the hits. Literally and figuratively. You want the praise? I see the complaining continues even after not playing football. His complaining is what made them change so many rules in the NFL to make QB's almost untouchable and now he is complaining about Jokes on a shoe he approved. Its not like he just showed up, he know what the jokes were going to be because believe it or not they have to be approved.
