If she was a background extra who wanted to make out with Tom cruise then yeah obviously that’s a no go but they’re both actors that have presented good performances, one’s just been in much longer. And regardless of all of them being in the zeitgeist together it’s still possible for them to get starstruck and be excited and look forward to shooting scenes alongside and potentially getting to do things with other well known actors. She might’ve jumped the gun a bit but again she just seemed excited to shoot the scene.
