I love how the best surfer ever is also the most humble. one thing I've learned from Curren over the years is to speak effectively, you really have to think about word choice. Always takes him a little longer, but when he does, it's always spot on, as he really thinks about best choice of words before it comes out.

We respect this man deeply. What integrity. Drop him in the ocean and see the magic happen. There is a gentle willingness here, yet the reticence is often apparent when it comes to talking it up.
