The initial instruction within the practice highlights the halfway line and gives conditions, but when the practice goes live, another line of cones appear before the halfway line. What purpose are they serving? I can think of a few, but would like to know your reasoning as it doesn't explain why they appeared there on the video.

Zero team coaching points, just a couple of individual points and progressing the practices with little explanation.

The 1st one looks to be 3v2 into 4v3 working on pressing and possession, at least thats what i got, the 2nd thing seemed weird.

To start with divide the pitch into 2...one team starts with the ball, say they have to make 3 or 4 passes and then pass the ball to the other side. Then the 3rd team who haven't had the ball goes in and you just rotate. That's how I'm going to do it anyway.
