Le formidable interprète de Lucifer Morningstar, dont la 6ème et dernière saison vient de sortir sur Netflix, nous a accordé un peu de son temps pour discuter de la série phénomène, de sa relation au public, et de ses futurs projets, dans lesquels nous avons déjà hâte de le retrouver !
Tom Ellis a récemment reçu le Prix d’Icône de la Pop Culture au Hollywood Critics Association Television Awards. Il a également été nommé dans la catégorie ‘Meilleur Acteur dans une Série streaming’ pour son rôle adoré de ‘Lucifer Morningstar’ dans Lucifer dont la dernière saison vient d’être diffusée sur Netflix. Il a aussi été nommé pour le Critics Choice Super Award de ‘Meilleur Acteur’ et ‘Meilleur Méchant’, mais aussi pour un Nymphe d’Or du Meilleur Acteur dans une Comédie au Festival de Télévision de Monte Carlo pour son rôle dans Miranda. En outre, il campe le rôle-titre de la série encensée Rush, celui du renégat ‘Dr William Rush’, médecin aux morales douteuses. Il était récemment dans le film à succès de Netflix Isn't It Romantic avec Rebel Wilson et a joué dans le séries The Strain, Les Griffin, ou encore la série récompensée aux BAFTA The Fades. Il tourne actuellement Players, comédie romantique de Netflix avec Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) et Damon Wayans Jr (Happy Endings).

I never heard of Tom Ellis until Lucifer. I love the show. I would love to see him as the next James Bond.

Again a great interview with Tom Ellis. Sometimes he gets asked the same questions over & over again. This time the questions were varied Tom really sounds good in this & very explanatory in his answers. Lucifer was a great thing for Tom Ellis. It really put him on the map. He is a VERY good actor. It has been a blessing & great pleasure following his career.

I'm ready to listen to him forever! I see him as a mysterious varelse, person, a brilliant actor, a talanted clown, whos ability to change the mood of fairly large number of people is simply inexplicable: comedies, Rush's tragedy and now the unforgettable Lucifer, who broke all stereotypes. I really want to ask Tom how much time it takes for such a multifaceted actor as you to rest in order to be ready for the next acting game with feelings, both his and ours? Is it easy to return to your normal life?

He did finish Lucifer and immediately do a Netflix Rom Com movie PLAYERS which will be released in 2022. He would need some down time to re- energise & get his creative juices going for his next pursuit

Tom is a really good actor, I love his acting as a doctor also in "Rush" Would love to see more episodes of this show... If you saw it, you must agree... The question we would like to also ask him here in Australia (and nobody did) is: did you had to sign in a contract not to be romantically involved with co-workers during filming?

There was only 1 season of Rush which is a shame. It could have been a very successful series. They had a good character with many layers to it Tom Ellis was also VERY good in the role. Sometimes good shows get cancelled too quickly Though they did Tom a favour because then he was introduced to Lucifer. They could not have had anyone do a better job than him. A brilliant cast with great writing and excellent directors.One of the best series ever 💯%

I just love this guy! I watched Miranda, Monday Monday and then against my will I ended up watching Lucifer which I ended up loving. I've watched the interviews he has done & he shows what a good person he really is. I wish him the very best in the future & hope to see him in lots of future projects.

내가 영어도 잘 못알아듣고 영어 자막도 없어서 내용을 모른다는게 너무 아쉽다... 그래도 톰은 잘생겨서 만족..ㅠ + When I watched KZfaq on my computer, there were subtitles that were automatically interpreted! It was nice to see just how passionate Tom is for music. thanks for the nice interview

I would suggest Tom look for family farmer parts for something more grounded yet complex. Maybe he could produce something like that.

Lot of people want to see Tom as James Bond. Nothing against that. But I would love to see Him in a really evil person. I know it's a strange wish. But! If an actor can make me hate Him /Her after I adored Him /Her in a role, now THAT is when I think "Damn! He showed a little glimps of it as Michael, so Tom has much more potential than Bond. In general :Give the man ANY options, He CAN MAKE ANITHYNG!!!!!

I find that greatest comedians make the scariest horror show villains in acting. He would be great. I don't understand why he hasn't won more awards or haven't I heard about them.
