His acting has come so far from his first rolls. I remember watching him in the TV sitcom Bussom Buddies. Then the movie Bachelor Party. How his talent has changed and been refined and sharpened to a razors edge that cuts to your soul and makes you feel the pain of life. Such as Saving Private Ryan and The Road to Perdition. So few actors in today's Hollywood can make an audience laugh, cry, feel remorse and anger. Take you through and emotional rollercoaster in just a few hours. He loves his America, college degree in history and a BIG SUPPORTER of our Miliatry. He loves his family, true to GOD. One of the very few actors that I have heard that YOU DON'T HEAR drama... He represents as a true american, not being military. He shows his love for the movies, can say he has acted in all types, , but outside of the movie, and great citizen. I've seen almost all AFI award movies, and this one not only shows a very "down to earth" guy in the spotlight, but also a very loving family. Tom Hanks has to be the most happy person in the world. He has a job he loves and he's great at, he loves his family and they love him. What I like about him is that not only on camera, but also "off camera", he is what you see: a very likeable person, sincere and honoust. He soesn't have another agenda, which I can spot with some other artists.
