He’s just engagingly present too. He looks at people when they talk and when he’s talking to you I bet you feel like you’re the only person on the planet with him. He’s so gracious too with his appreciation and praise. This is someone who loves what he does and everything connected to it. So humble and such a gentleman. He’s lovely to behold in every way.

Ah, the wondrous world of assumptions. He can also honestly felt this and wanting to express this. While she find it difficult to receive these compliments. He might just be really nice and thoughtful! It all can be the case. All assumptions.

Probably same as if someone said an English actor spoke with an American accent for a movie right? It’s not that there is no such thing but the term is so generic that it doesn’t respect the multitude of accents found in both countries. For instance I’m sure at some point someone described Tom’s “American accent” he used when portraying Hank Williams not bothering to specify the region. And yet, it would not have been wrong to say American- just very nonspecific. But since Southern / Texas accents don’t naturally occur anywhere else in the world except for the North American continent… If I say someone spoke with a British accent in one movie and a Russian accent in their next movie, though it’s a generic term it would still immediately and effectively convey the distinction being made. Though generic the term does still provide a general frame of reference. But I understand if it irks you. 😊

I think what Travis Ash meant was that Britain is made up of three nations so a British accent isn’t accurate. You have to specify Welsh, Scottish or English accent. Each has a distinctive accent that is identifiable as coming from that nation but obviously then the accent changes from region to region. You can spot a Welsh,Scottish or English accent without knowing what region it comes from.

@@ehmaho Correct. My issue is the wording “there is no such thing as”. But yeah he probably meant people should specify. Calling a Welsh accent British isn’t making something up as if there is no such thing. It’s just not specific. I’m taking the wording too literally is what you’re saying. Guilty. 😂😂
