I find it hilarious that they can cast all kinds of crazy spells but they apparently don't have one that would simply remove snow from the sanctorum

Strange doesn't realize that the multiverse has been freed (after Loki). If he had known about it, he would have never suggested this, because the spell is multiversal

Dr Strange had successfully changed the parameters of the spell 3 times. It was only during the 4th time that the spell got out of control. So, instead of choosing Ned, Peter should have chosen Happy to remember that he is Spiderman. After all, Happy is the person who gives Peter access to Tony Stark's tech after Tony's death. It wouldn't have harmed Peter at all if Ned had forgotten that he was Spiderman. Very poor choice from Peter's side!

Brilliant scene. This shows the naiveness of Peter and overconfidence of Strange. And Strange's spell was actually supposed to affect MCU only, but it affected the multiverse due to multiverse becoming free from sacred timeline at the end of Loki final episode.

I just realised that when Dr Strange gets mad at the end, it’s not for the reason Peter wanted the spell cast in the first place. It wasn’t to get into college it was cause their lives were a mess since everyone knew he was Spider-Man

I think leaving it at just Ned and MJ would've been fine. I think he could've just told Happy his real name is Peter and retold Aunt May since she started working with "Spider-Man" in the last film.

I like how they just gave up with Strange slipping and kept it in since Benedict Cumberbatch couldn’t stop slipping when he landed with the wires. Most films and series insist on keeping characters “perfect,” so slips, and coughs and stuff like that is never kept in.

Dr. Strange really should have shut that spell down as soon as Peter suddenly mentioned he wanted MJ to be exempt from the spell. Talking it through was clearly essential at that point. But then it’d be a very short Spider-Man movie.

Even though a lot of people give this scene hate i really feel like this scene in a lot of ways really shows the kinda character that Peter Parker is. He may be a brilliant scientist but he's also just a kid. He's a kid that makes mistakes. He may want to be like Tony Stark and look up to him but at the end of the day he's niave and stupid. I'm not saying it gives him a pass on messing up the spell but at the same time that's just the character that Peter is and THAT'S what makes him so relatable as a hero. The fact that he's not perfect and he does make stupid mistakes. Heroes aren't perfect. They may be able to do incredible, amazing things but they also mess up...sometimes really really bad. Superheroes may be incredible and amazing but their also not perfect.

Peter really should have thought carefully about his decision to use mind-altering magic before he went to Doctor Strange in the first place. Even if he knew very little about magic, he still should have thought about how things might get worse if you use magic. You'd think that when Dr Strange said "It won't turn back time, but at least people will forget you were ever Spider-Man", Peter would have immediately realized his friends will be under the spell too since Strange never said it would only apply to those who found out when his identity was outed. Also as Strange later pointed out, Peter could have just asked the boarders of MIT to reconsider his Ned and MJ's applications beforehand. And even if he can't convince them, he can still apply to a different college. The whole memory-wiping spell was unnecessary in the first place

If you count the times that Peter changed the spell it is five times: 1) MJ 2) Ned 3) Aunt May 4) Happy 5) Everyone who knew before Mysterio So Strange put himself in there.

When Doctor Strange said that his spell had been changed six times I was excited to see the Sinister Six but unfortunately only five villains appeared later while Venom only appeared in the post-credits scene.

Actually, Strange is right. In order to have a good spell, it is better to let everyone in the group follow the spell. It might cause a problem, when you choose some of the people not to follow the spell, while others have to follow. Stability is the main problem. That's why be careful what you wish for.

Peter, even after being warned several times and floating off the ground amidst a Spell going absolutely haywire because of him, goes OUT OF HIS WAY to continue meddling with it with his nitpicky changing by the second conditions. Definitely a Teenager.

Did anyone notice that there were 5 spell rings around strange and Peter when strange stopped the spell as he changed the spell 5 times. And there are a total of 5 villains from the multiverse who come. 1 ring for each villain

Yes they both screwed up but it's perfectly within charachter for both that it happened the way it did. Peter is extremely anxious and overwhelmed by everything happening to him so he's not thinking straight, while Strange has almost as big of an ego as Tony and always has to be the one in control as explained in Doctor strange 2. So we have this situation where an overwhelmed teenager is asking the adult in the room for help and the adult assumes he has the perfect answer without explaining what it'll do once casted to Peter. Both of them realize their mistakes and grow from them with Strange even carrying that into his own movie with how he interacts with America Shavez. He still had to learn to let go of the knife but he's much better at communicating with kids and listening too.

To be fair, Strange was clearly very happy to cast the spell that brainwashes the entire world

I still don't understand how Doctor strange blamed Peter when all he had to do was make a clear understanding of the spell before it was made. He's the magic guy he should know that being specific with spells is what makes them work correctly. Peters a newbie. If I had been doing the spell it would have been really easy to ask Peter exactly what he wants written down in a single simple sentence.

I like that the MCU creative team, knew it was good for a father son dynamic to keep going with Peter, Tony Stark can't be there for him, so Dr Strange takes on the role, and it's great to watch it unfold,

Dr Strange was the true villain in this movie and responsible for everything that happened. They wrote him to be an irresponsible moron, when he's supposed to be smart. The real Dr Strange would have told Peter that most of the Avengers already deal with their identity known to the public, and that Peter would have do the same. He would have never agreed to cast some crazy world-changing memory spell just to fix the personal problems of a single teenager, Avenger or not.

spiderman in the comics wouldve went with the original spell, he wouldve done everything in his power to prevent anyone from finding out spiderman and peter were the same person, including his team, family, and friends.

I agree doing this spell is grave mistake from doctor strange in 1st place. He should have refused that. But Peter is real culprit because 1) messing with strange's spell. 2) stopping strange, when he just want to make things correct and send every creature back into their universe. 3) capturing the man who can do everything correct and Risking stability of whole multiverse. For these mistakes, he got the right punishment like 1) his aunt died 2) every one forget his identity

I wonder what was Strange's plan after this. Was he gonna cast the spell, see Peter and how was he gonna react?

Makes me wonder how Tony himself would have reacted to this, first to Peter not taking his exposed identity well. As Tony let it out from the beginning of his superhero sagas, thus having the knowledge of what to expect and giving Peter pointers of how to overcome it. Probably had some great secrets hiding places for him and his friends to hide at till the chaos dies down. And then Strange making it worse cause of his lack of foresight not predicting that perhaps Peter needed someone to talk to him through his ordeal, instead if of ways to use this as if it was just another day practicing spells irresponsibly. Of course both are going to picker back and forth, Tony had his moments before where he too got egotistical with his capabilities but Tony had learned over time how those poor decisions affects those around him than he is credited to have learned.

Had a Great Cinema Experience With No Way Home Really looking forward to Spiderman 4

According to concept art, back when Multiverse of Madness was slated to release BEFORE No Way Home, the cause of the Multiverse arrivals was actually going to be America Chavez. Peter, MJ, and Ned would all be there to witness the event take place at some amusement park (probably Luna Park at Coney Island). Makes me kind of wish No Way Home and Multiverse of Madness were more connected.

Wong, who is the Sorcerer Supreme, should have forbidden Strange to do the spell and not leave, he should have stayed and not let him do.

I agree with Dr. Strange on this. Spider-Man fought alongside with the Avengers against Thanos and yes his secret got out after defeating Mysterio. The least Peter Parker can do is plead his case with the college board with his friends before going to Dr Strange for a memory wipe spell. Sometimes the right path isn’t always they easiest path. That’s why at the end, Peter sacrificed not just his secret identity but his whole identity to protect the multiverse. That’s the move a true hero.

I hope that doctor strange will never have to use that spell again.

For a doctor, Steven sure didn't care to establish the goals of this spell without casting it. Imagine doing a surgery and you've opened this guy up trying to remove his left kidney only for him to tell you that he actually needs a liver transplant. Pretty strange that he did not think about that, especially because he was aware that people who knew his secret identity before Mysterio would also forget.

Everyone pause at 2:46 and at 2:57. Continue to flip between these two frames of Dr. Strange’s face. (The shot/frame at 2:46 seems to have taken place during principal photography. Whereas the shot at 2:57 was taken during reshoots). When I watched this movie, I thought his face looked “strange” for some parts of the film and especially this part. It seems as though there were reshoots and a few very minor (but noticeable) inconsistencies squeaked through to the final cut. His wig isn’t the same; you could check the sideburns and how they seem to cover his ear differently. His beard isn’t the same; you could see how it was shaved differently on the left side of his face (our left as the viewer). And generally it seems as though the makeup isn’t the same; we see more of his eye wrinkles later. Idk if it’s just me or his widow’s peak is a little more prominent in the reshoots. His eyebrows are less full in the reshoots. The lighting just looks “flatter” on his person (almost like it was shot in a studio booth with a green screen) for example take a look at HIS right shoulder (our left, as the viewer) and you could see the cloak looks like cgi or something because of how flat the lighting is. Idk if I’m going crazy but I haven’t mentioned everything that looks different.
