I worked with Tom as a stuntman on one of his films. I sat in the backseat of a car for multiple shots with him which allowed us to chat for a little bit in between takes. He is just as humble and personable on the job/in person as he is in this interview. Great actor and a fantastic human being.

I hear you bro, grew up in a similar scenario as you and opposite to tom’s but I just wanted to point out that it’s important to know that everything in this world has it’s blessings and curses. my parents never hid their struggles from me and my siblings. It was hard as a younging knowing that I couldn’t help them but today as a grow man i am able to help others with their struggles in any shape and form and I would like to think it’s because of the environment i grew up in. To clarify am not saying people who didn’t grow up in the same circumstances as me can’t also help people but i just feel like being in it for a long time truly makes you understand the necessity of helping eachother through thick times cause no one is making it far in this world on their own. Anyways sending love and guidance to everyone reading this, keep pushing.❤

I agree, but we shouldn't let that diminish his goals and his accomplishments! I do agree though, many people get these things mixed with each other. Everyone does experience depression, anxiety, etc, but they often forget about the crowd that don't go through the "phases"... that these things are their way of life and we're just coping everyday.@@user-qd1ei2ww6e

Upon my first shroom trip, my depression disappeared overnight. It shifted my perspective on the way I viewed myself. It showed me that I was stuck in one way of thinking. This was unhealthy mentally and it was affecting me physically. Within 6 months of the trip, my chronic lower back pain disappeared, I'm sure it was due to tension and stress, and hasn't returned.

I rarely watch celebrity interviews, but hearing how balanced of a human Tom is, is refreshing. How he sets boundaries and can see this bigger picture of his place in the scope of things is really nice. I believe his close relationships. and connections to family and friends can be attributed to this. More people should try to a wholesome mind set he has. It’s unfortunate many people as he says loose themselves.

Yeah so that is quite interesting, how he’ll mention her in other interviews etc but not this one as much. But maybe, it’s because he’s actually sitting down with someone for more then 10-20 minutes and he probably figured discussing their relationship ( like more into details were just off limits) I’m assuming. Also, idk if it was me or not, but he came off kinda anxious a bit. Just moving around a bit and he couldn’t really just sit that still. Maybe he was nervous, I know when i start to feel anxious I just start to move around and get like fidgety as well. But I’m not really sure

Huge respect to Jay for not asking Tom anything about his relationship, rather he let Tom share what he wanted and didn't comment on it or ask for more information. I love the way Tom responds while listening to Jay; it's not just simple 'uh-huh' like many others, but Tom inserts words like 'sure', 'absolutely' 'love it', 'totally!' ' a 100%'...etc.etc. Tom is an excellent communicator. Not only he is very eloquent but also he makes his counterparty aware that he is well listened. You can tell that Tom is an intelligent and caring man.

Tom and Zendaya come across as just everyday people following their dreams. That is what I love about each of them. I am not obsessed with their personal relationship because that is their business but I must admit that I love seeing them interacting in interviews. I hope that they come out of the entertainment business unscathed.

Indeed. 19 here, never feel the hype around drinking and being drunk. Like you cant be emotionally vulnerable and be honest without some alcohol usage? That’s sad. Keep it. For you. And you’ll meet like-minded friends i promise. (P/s: i do enjoy cocktails, and drink for the taste too. Or on very rare occasion with really closefriends, or family. seeing interviews (or rather conversations) like this really + truly reminds me of who is on the side of light in this world. it's also not so black and white, all or nothing, light or dark, but a conversation like this TRULY made me comprehend that it's a choice that we all make, and the action of doing so is relative to our life circumstances, our living situations, and yet it's a choice that we all intentionally make, perhaps over and over again, oftentimes the constant making of it is more a reminder to ground ourselves in what we truly value and know to be true than anything else.
