Tom and Nova was living in South Central LA hood and all his neighbours were black, they had a certain outlook, one day he was with Nova in a Diner and he saw a black guy with dreadlocks and said to Nova 'If I was black that is how I'd have my hair', that got him thinking what it'd be like if he was black. Tom made the song and took it to the local Black Panther chapter, they liked it and asked to be in the video, so some of the characters are from the actual Black Panthers. Tom is not afraid about taking a risk and saying whatever he wants to say, he lost his distributer over putting this track out. #HOG UK here for it

Tom builds his own sets, they make their own videos, writes his own lyrics make his own beats. He can't be cancelled. Even if he is removed from you tube he still has his own site.

Tom shows he is able to attempt understand anothers point of view. The only way to move forward is create a dialouge between people, some people may not agree with something he says here, that creates a space for conversation for others to understand why you feel that way,a nd that dialouge is the only way we can come back together as humans and move forward. And you guys had conversation because of this song and thats what it was meant to do. Appreciate your reaction.

#HOG in the house. So i am a 62 year old white man. In 1987, to help out a friend. I moved to Anaheim California. But i managed a Domino Pizza he owned, in Compton, whoch was when the whole crack, gang and violence, exploded. I was just ignorant enough to where i wasn't scared. But having grown up in a city in Iowa, we dont credit ones upbringing, and environment and the experience one has in interactions outside of our neighborhoods. I knew some folks who lived in the country, but rarely came into the city. And there were alot of city folk that did know or relate to small town or farmers amd what they go through. When i managed the pizza store, i shouldn't have, but i was surprised of some of my older workers, in their 50's, that had never been outside of the city or L.A. county. I say all that to say this. If all you have as actual life experience, AND stories of those in your community, many of whom have limited interaction with different lifestyles and cultures here in the U.S. that only creates not racism, but misunderstanding and ignorance. And if your beliefs are built about other peoples stories, or whats promoted on television or in the movies, than you are going to have significant mumbers of people believing stuff that isnt right. That is why the woke, cancel culture is so dangerous. You label people instead of having conversations. Which will cause them to dig in and actually reinforce in them that is not correct. Additionally, there are alot of people who do not communicate verbally alot, who if trying to explain what they might think due to lack of confidence, when pressed, express their thoughts with difficulty. I was brought up in a common sense approach. Racism is not what person says. We all have 7:23 had moments of poor judgment, especially in what we say. I stand guilty as charged. But a real racist doesnt just say things. A real racist acts in unkind, unfair or evil actions that display their true disrespect and willful attempt to harm others. So we are losing the battle not because there are so many racists. We are losing the battle because we dont admit theres alot of folks who are just ignorant and have little interaction with those different from them. If we took the time to convesate instead of condemn immediately, we would not only have less racism, but actual unity. You will never get rid of racism completely. but we are creating more divisions because of all the influencers and politicians who throw fuel on the fire because they derive their money, status and power by promoting.it. Appreciate your back and forth.

I think we are grown enough to know. Nothing in this world is "Free". The bill is always due and for those things to get paid for, another group in our society has to pay for it.

re: 5:24 that's spot on. Luckily we have alternatives to mainstream media, in the form of de-centralized information dissemination via the internet. It's very easy now to observe large swaths of information about people in major regions or in statistical percentages for free online, but it lacks some things that can only come from meeting people in person, so shouldn't be assumed 100% accurate.

Skin color doesn't make you good or bad. I personally believe that we're just different shades of brown. I wish someone with lots of followers would start that idea. Then racism would dwindle away.

Reparations at this point is way too far from the fact to be legit. There were black slave owners and free black people in the north so how would you separate those black people from black people that were slaves?

I have the greatest idea. The problem is people don't feel like they should have to pay because they weren't involved with those injusticies. Including me I wasn't born here and neither was my wife. This is how you pay for it. You do it like the Native Americans. We don't necessarily pay them their reparations. The federal government gives them exclusive rights that generates money that is paid as their reparations. Aka casinos. They allow them to run casinos almost like a monopoly on some states. So let's do that's for reparations. Give them exclusive rights that generates money that pays for their reparations. AND I even know of which exclusive product/service that would be perfect. AND I have a great plan B. DM for my perspective ideas. It's 25k for my idea if you like it or not. Upfront gold preferred

But it's been going on since BC! What about men like Tippu Tip? Or William Ellison? Anthony Johnson? Rich black men who owned and rounded up their own to sell to who? Where's the refund? Food! Shelter was never free! Not saying it's not right! But it was a world wide practice long before the arrival of Christ, who started it?
