Tom Sachs Breaks Down the Nike Mars Yard 2.0 Sneaker

Tom Sachs' NikeCraft project set up camp on Governor's Island last week with the opening of Space Camp, an interactive combination of obstacle course, indoctrination station and art installation. According to Sachs: "This project-the shoes, the movie, the obstacle, the zine-all of that is in the service of the idea that the reward for good work is more work." HYPEBEAST sat down with Sachs to delve into some of the ideas underlying the NikeCraft project.

Met this guy while I was at the museum of art in dallas and the feeling of meeting him was that of when a kid meets the big inventors or idols in movies and gets a smile and a handshake and then runs home and sleeps with a big smile on his face because he just met his hero. Tom is like non other in this age man :,)

I watch Casey a lot. I had no idea that these two men knew each other. But when i watched this video, i could clearly see that there was a connection between Sachs and Casey.

On topic of classics, adidas has plenty with continental 80s, ar trainers, sambas, and Stan smiths! My personal favorite is the indoor super shoes! Now that’s a classic sneaker!!
