Tom Savini is pure Joy. I learned so much from his books when I was like 15 yo. Seeing him with his whip is enjoyment at another level. xoxo.

This is the adult version of my ideal playground. So much cool stuff and also the evolution of the horror genre and the special effects that made horror movies great! You cant go wrong with Savini's work!!

Awesome room, but if I was there and the lights go off and I have a flashlight, I wouldn't even think about turning that thing on. I'd rather be in the dark. That's the best compliment I can give to Tom: "I love you, I love this, but keep those goddamned things away from me. I'm planning on sleeping again."

Stop sleeping pills if you take some. If you don't, then share your wisdom. Never, Ever stop what you do, you rock ! That's the most marvellous attick everyone should have. A glimpse of the death, taboo but makes your stronger. You are building what life and hope undesire the most : an imagery of death. Why do people makes creations from death. Aren't we living too ? So what

Fucking love Tom! Guys a legend! Such a shame people like him, Rick Baker and many others don’t get the work anymore :/. Hey Hollywood CGI AND puppets/ prosthetics CAN WORK IN CONJUNCTION TOGETHER!! Stop leaning to much to CG
@landonwhyte29732 ай бұрын
Well, I mean, Rick retired and does his own things and said he doesn't plan on working on more movies
@silverscreenreviews85212 ай бұрын
@@landonwhyte2973 yeah but the people he trained and taught don’t get the film projects is what I’m saying
@landonwhyte29732 ай бұрын
@@silverscreenreviews8521 ah, I see. Yeah, cgi killed practical effects
@silverscreenreviews85212 ай бұрын
@@landonwhyte2973 it unfortunately has, and it’s sad as both could work amazingly together, such as in the case of Jurassic park or even titanic. And awesome artists like Tom, baker, bottin, and Stan Winston’s former employees get less and less work due to the CGI takeover and I find that such a shame and a massive disservice to not only us fans of their works and skill but also a loss to the film industry as a whole
@landonwhyte29732 ай бұрын
@silverscreenreviews8521 you hit the nail on the head. But I think the other reason why sfx people don't do big movies anymore is because the sexually eager film producers of today like to put a damper on the imagination of sfx artists and can't commit to one design. Rick has said in interviews one of the reasons he retired was because no one seems to know what they want the creature of the film to look like and won't commit to one design.
