Thanks Maestro Andris Nelsons played Ein Heldenleben at Symphony Hall in 2014. That was my first time hearing this piece, although I heard a few other pieces before by R. Strauss, but nothing quite like this one. The orchestration of Strauss is so colorful. Thanks for sharing this wonderful trumpet passage. Every time I hear this passage, it makes me very excited. Hope BSO can play this piece again soon.

I love the practice room design. Reminds me of a man sitting inside a JBL Century 100 speaker (from the 70's) turned inside out. Oh yes, Tom sounds great. Musicians are very fortunate. They can practice their art...something they love, even if it's alone.
