Love Rebellion. Just played Armada two weeks ago. I really liked that even small low cost support ships can give your fleet a huge boost.'haven't seen a minatures game incorporate support units successfully since Battletech

Legendary absolutely needs an app. The worst part of the game is set-up and tear-down time finding/sorting cards which the app would completely obviate.

Didn't think I would care for Spyfall at all, but I ended up loving it.

There is a great app that is a randomizer for Legendary Marvel. You just put in what you have and hit a button, and it gives you a random setup of everything you need.

Great selection of games so far Tom and you're right about the best GMT game ;) As a friendly note I found that the image/camera in #50 was out of focus and out of frame not to mention it wasn't stable. I guess it was one of your kids holding the camera? Nonetheless a great top 100 so far.

Funny how from 50 to 44 on the great Ameritrash run .. I have every single base game on that list and expansion for it (except for Legendary Marvel : Fantastic Four as they pulled that one due to some Disney Vs (Fox?) problem.. now selling at $200+ on ebay. Fantasy Flight Games are for me the no.1 Ameritrash company with Cool Or Not Mini etc following close. Cyclades is big in Spain where I am now.. bigger than Kemet and I'm a Kemet guy.

star wars rebellion is great. it's just so hard to get to the table, due to it being only 2 players. suburbia is great, I like how easy it is to play with or without the 5* expansion.

Tom, "Cyclades" is pronounced "SIH-kluh-deez" in English, as you are accustomed to saying it. The "kih-KLAH-deez" pronunciation is based on the (Modern) Greek pronunciation, and the people pronouncing it that way are just effecting a Greek pronunciation in English. Just like if someone constantly said "pah-REE" for Paris, it's not exactly *wrong*, but it does tend to make that speaker sound pompous.

Star Wars Rebellion was a game I beta tested and enjoyed but is not on my top 100, and 4 player is fine. Legendary Marvel is a game I was willing to try because of the theme even though I don't like Deck builders, but I didn't care for it. I did not feel like I was playing any Super heroes because the Hero cards were mixed up and you get cards from other Heroes. I may play it again, but would never request it. Suburbia is a game I want to play, as I am a fan of Castles of Mad King Ludwig. Spyfall was a big hit for my family but am not a huge fan. Its fun and ok, but I do get tired of it quickly. It is my 106th favorite game.

I have a really bad feeling that one of my all time favourites, Lords Of Waterdeep, has dropped of from Tom's list this year. :P

I really think it is a little blind to call four-player Rebellion bad. It is not. Splitting this into teams makes it a cooperative game, just against another team and decision points there are even more complex as a team than against a deck of cards. My group prefers it like this, it's a shared experience.

Is Marvel Legendary a good solo game?

Previously you've commented how the likes of Arkham Horror have had too much released for it which makes the game poorer. But Star Wars Imperial Assault just gets better when hundreds of additions are released? Personally I think releasing too much just means you'll hardly ever use 75% plus of the components. You're paying "through the nose" to make your existing pieces obsolete.

Spyfall gives me sense of anxiety when i have to come up with something vague to still hint i'm not a spy and won't give out too much information. This is really hard to come up with something clever and that's the main detraction for me. Your questions are usually very vague and bland and in some groups it just bombs.

Tom was lucky that elephant wasn't a Luddite and hasn't stomped him for picking MoM 2nd edition for the list :D

"Descent universe is much more fully realised than Star wars universe"? What? Even bird at 6:30 doesnt agree. I dont like black/white world of SW, but come on, Descent is just as boring and generic fantasy as it gets. But anyway, some great games here.
