At moment of of clarity during my abuse of drugs I searched for the Pipers to cheer me up as I'm a wee bit away from Scotland and miss it dearly. I found this song and played it on repeat for weeks hoping that I could gather the strength to sing it. I couldn't get threw a single verse without crying, I still can't!. I have stopped lying to myself and have reached out for help and im receiving it in bucket loads. I'm on the path to a better life and wanted to say thank you Tom Walker and the Red Hot Chili Pipers. Tears come to my eyes everytime I hear this song becaus e it's the song my Dad played on his phone when scattering the ashes of the family dog on top of the first and last munroe (a munroe is a mountain which has a height above a certain level) that she ever climed! This dog had been with me all the way through childhood and most of the way into my teenage years but she passed away after we had to make the "one way trip to the vet". This dog had lived longer than everyone excepted, she fought and defeated cancer and defeated conquered many many mountains in her life. She loved to run, swim in the sea, chew bones that were literally longer than she was, chasing anything that moved (even leaves) and loving life. R.I.P Lacey! 28/10/2007-28/08/2019
