Very few comedians can be this funny without being vulgar. What a talented guy. We need more of him.
@TheSoleProprietor Жыл бұрын
I agree with you, 100%. I was sampling the comedy of Robin Williams and he was too fast, talked too much and was way too vulgar and as a result... was freaking obnoxious! Tom Wilson has just the right amount of being funny and less vulgar... Much less! Tom is much more fun to watch and listen to!

I was thinking the same thing after watching him on some BTF panels... he easily could play an overprotective Dad in a family sitcom. Heck, a sitcom based on his life as an actor known for one key role, intimidating his daughter's boyfriends and dealing with his "monkey boy" son... practically writes itself.

I saw Tom perform at the Comedy Store in Vegas around 1989 or 1990. I had no idea how funny Biff could be. Then I met him after the show and he was one of the nicest guys I ever got a chance to talk to. Genuinely down to earth and personable. I've been a fan ever since.

What can you say about a man of this caliber? This is a man who takes his crafts and his craftsmanship very seriously, and yet he is very down to Earth. The only thing that comes to mind is: Mr. Wilson, you have done a great job. I have been well-entertained, and even educated by you. You, sir, are a credit to mankind--more so than you realize. Singer, painter, actor, cartoon voice, comedian--this is Thomas Wilson. With these talents, they need to make a movie to showcase him for something other than a bully. He has just too much talent; he's too much of an artist. He'd be good in one of those "crazy neighbor" movies where he saves Christmas. He'd make a damn good "Uncle Buck.". P. S. Keep "Thunderbird," by Ray Anthony, in the movie and play it in the Introduction instead of the end.
