Eh- nah. This is still a HL2 mod. Too many HL2 assets used to consider it just a game made in Source Engine.

@@SubparProfessional The only thing modded in the gameplay is they are using a custom map. If it's gameplay, it's pure EDF 4.1. Badger does his filler animation and motion capture in Source, but the game is NOT.

@@SubparProfessional Most of his video he animated himself in source. Literally nothing of this game is based on HL2 or source. they use their own in house engine the make everything. You really got confused between the stuff badger made and the actual game.

Can also confirm that his EDF VODs are 110% worth watching. There's so much more funny shit in there that didn't make the small amount used in the video, and most of the clips he did use are even funnier in context.

The best part about this game is that NONE OF IT IS A MOD. It's all actually in game content canonical to the story. EDF games are a different breed of games and fun as hell to play. It is the cheesiest, goofy, over the top and dumbest games ever made. It's dialogue is dumb beyond belief, the voice acting is akin to mixing educational television for kids and the most stereotypical 80's action movies, the graphics are basically PS2 quality, and has more explosions than every single Michael Bay film put together. But that's part of this game's charm. It's a fuckin BLAST to play (pun intended) EDF 5, EDF Iron Rain and EDF 4.1 are all stellar games 100% worth a pickup. There even making another game EDF 6. Recently released in Japan and its under development to have an English translation for the Western Market.

First off, the animated sections aren't part of the game. Secondly, i don't blame you for thinking this was a mod for a strategy game. RTS games can have ridiculous amounts of units
