I think Mike Caputo has to be the best drummer in ROS since the departure of Aaron Stechauner in 2018 and also Ian Baker back in 2013/14. His stamina and accuracy is absolutely phenomenal.

This is honestly one of the best live performance I’ve seen on KZfaq. They’re so tight with their playing and delivery, and the vocals are KILLER. Whoever did the house-sound also murdered their job requirements. You can tell that night sounded AMAZING, especially when an iPhone/video-cam recording sounds like the majority of venues’ on-board mix. Just simply an amazing moment of metal history, and musicianship. Lucas Mann & ROS will forever be one the best examples of extreme technical playing being viable for mainstream music (and making certain musicians jealous 😉).

I saw them in Melbourne on this tour - without doubt one of my life highlights - I was side stage and was able to watch Mike Caputo absolutely shred it up and was lucky enough to have a short chat with him after the show. Thanks for posting your video up - much appreciated.

I think they got Marco for the album because most of his recordings are one take. He's been on I think 18 different albums this year for session work.

Time.... It has no limit. It's all about perception. We mostly operate from day to day on a slower perception of time. Or, you can enable yourself to break time down into the smallest segments, and do something only then. In that sliver of time These guy's are pushing that limit of time where it has never been in full song's in a live band before. Before Rings of saturn, i would say Dragonforce was the last push to a new level. I believe it will only get closer to infinity But until then. Rings of Saturn is the kings of time to me even though im a MASSIVE Meshuggah fan amd will always be my #1. Rings of Saturn is at a new level of of time.
