- -TOMAR's 970L Scorpion lightbar maintains the rugged structure of Tomar's 930/950 series lightbars but with an efficient low profile modern look and optimized led and optics design. With extruded aluminum housing, cast aluminum end caps, and easily replaceable, hermetically sealed optical Lexan light modules the 970L lightbar is built to last. The 970L lightbar includes many features such as 6 LED front and rear warning modules, 12 LED corner modules and LED take down and alley lights.
NOTE: Light bars come with clear outer domes unless otherwise specified.

- Six 6 LED modules front and Eight 6 LED modules rear with Four 12 LED corner modules.
- High Intensity LED Takedowns and High Intensity LED Alleys.
- Fully programmable flash patterns via standard 20 foot cable.
- Integrated 8 element traffic director standard.
- Easy to maintain hermetically sealed lamp modules.
- Potted controller and waterproof wiring standard.
This is a 49 inch lightbar.

Just installed one of the new Tomar Scorpions. The redesigned optics are amazing! I didn't think they could improve but they sure have. Great bar that's tough as nails in the environment. We had one make it through baseball size hail and it only put a few small dents in it, and it still works fine! Highly recommend this bar to anyone wanting their money's worth.

Tomar'a new optics are becoming more and more superior with their white illumination. Especially with the lights that have the ability to do a slightly lower power warning light and a higher power scene light. What would be epic to see is a Tomar Scorpion with a Whelen lightbar to see how bright they are, especially with their scene lighting. Good video as always. We need a demo of Code 3's M5 Message Display.

i love this light bar my police dept uses it and the ems chase and fire dept shift commders cars use it as well

Tomar is still around?! I never see their lightbars used anywhere since their heliobe strobe systems were discontinued.

Calgary Police have used Tomar bars FOR YEARS, predominantly because of the cost... Never even bothered with multiple lengths either; was always a bit comical seeing E-Series van's with the 49in bar on the roof and 2ft long strap bolts trying to keep it down.
