Larry you have given me hope that I will have Tomatoes this year! I have all but given up on gardening. My in town lawn is all Kentucky clay. I have watched your videos all winter and have my grow bag garden all planned out. My grandson and I planted our heirloom tomato seeds 2 weeks ago. They are sprouting nicely. I just want the end of April to get here and get this season off the ground. Thanks a Million!

Would you be able to post a pic or video of the growth of a tomato plant in a 1 gallon regular plastic pot, just to get a clearer idea of the comparison between fabric pot vs plastic pot ? Thanks Larry, i like your air pruning pots and am spreading the idea to the bonsai community, where ignorance about air pruning seems to be common :-)

I’m using grow bags for the first time with my tomatoes this year. I just transplanted them into large bags. I have a basin under each bag. At what point do I stop watering from the top of the bags and only water in the basins? Thank you

Are those this years plants? If so im way behind. How do you feel about last years bag that I used and left the potting mix in over winter. Do You think I can just pull enough potting mix out to replant along with soil amenities such as line, Chicken manurer , ect. or Should I pull all the mix out and re due the hole mix? I usually redue the entire bag but feeling a little lazy this year. Thanks from your buddy Greg In Rockford/Cherry Valley IL.

We grow our large ones during winter and the grape and cherry tomatoes in the summer. For some reason large tomatoes do not do well in our summer heat.

The only issue I have in growing a tomato plant in a 1 gallon grow bag is the pain of transplanting it to a 3 gallon bag. That was a total mess getting it out of the one gallon bag intact LOL.
