I really enjoyed the upload. I don’t know if you watched my upload from this morning because I did not check the comments yet. Working with my real job all day. But what I discussed is that we are working on paper, not steal, not wood, but paper. Also ancient paper. So as you said if you are going to work on books that are made of paper sometimes things will happen. Believe me, I know from experience.

Just need to lower your heat settings and this shouldn't happen again.

The rheostat is shot, there is now no way to lower the settings now.

@@KollectingKaos can you replace the thermostat? Shouldn't be too hard. I have a real old press from the 1970's that I had to gut and install a new heating core, but it wasn't that tough
