TOMB RAIDER TRILOGY REBOOT Review

4 жыл бұрынHere is a review of the Tomb Raider Trilogy Reboot series that started way back in 2013 with Tomb Raider by Crystal Dynamics and ended with Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 2019 by Eidos Montreal. A game that takes cues for fantastic Action Adventure Games like the Uncharted series with Nathan Drake, Lara Croft take a hard look at her newest action adventures to save herself, her friends, and the world. I enjoyed the reboot immensely. The journey to platinum was fun bar the multiplayer. The graphics were splendid and voice acting stellar.

I just beat Shadow yesterday. This trilogy was a sight to behold in every way possible. My personal favorite was Rise. The atmosphere, combat, and story were stellar.

Thanks for the update!! I only own the first on PC. I own the other two on console and would love to play them on PC to see how much better it will look and at higher framerate!!

i played the reboot on the xbox 360 and enjoyed it, you either like or dislike the new gameplay direction but i thought it was a solid entertaining game, i recently bought rise and shadow cheap second hand and am about to play through them, i gave myself a refresher playing through my old copy again and im ready

It's really a good time to get some of the best games released for little on the dollar. Get ready as each sequel from Rise to Shadow tries to do much better in every category from story, visuals, and puzzles. One of the best trilogy of games I have seen and played in a long time right up there with the Uncharted series for the Playstation. Hope you enjoy the rest of my channel!!

Lah-rah. "Laura" is a different name, altogether. I wouldn't mind, but she is quite clearly addressed as the former in every single game.

I love Nu Lara. No need for anyone to hate!! All the games are good. Shadow is the least favourite of the 3 but it’s still ok.

i got the trilogy for free (hail epic games) and now lara is my fav gameplay character . shadow being tha fav and the scene when lara lost it it was fucking amazing . good review

With Crystal Dynamics working with Amazon developing a new Tomb Raider with the Unreal 5 engine, time will tell when the next installment arrives. I'm hopeful not too distant in the future and rather sooner than later.

I enjoyed the reboot games. It beats a women in booty shorts and a crop top being sexualized for games sales. Like really... who would actually go out in tombs wearing nothing but booty shorts and a crop top.

@@Vladimira92 OG lara was kinda of a garbage person TBH.. selfish, greedy, arrogant, noncaring, psychotically murderous . She did things because she could f the consequences.. Maybe in TR1 she killed only 3 humans and tons of other beings.. by TR2, was murder galore..

The exploration and puzzles were changed for a more action approach. Let's see what Crystal Dynamics does with the Unreal 5 engine and Tomb Raider!! Can't wait!

Sure they also massively changed Lara herself. For the better IMHO. She is less stylized and no longer a garbage selfish greedy psychotic mass murderer/grave robber. Now is still a psychotic mass murderer/grave robber but she is also haunted. She actually has a psychological journey through the trilogy. something the OG SEVERELY LACKED.

@@BHOReviews08 to be honest the trilogy progressively increase puzzle complexity and lowered combat prevalence. But i heard people complaining of Tomb Raider being set in dark underground caves/areas (seriously supposed OG fans complaining about "tombs" in a series called TOMB RAIDER) OG fans are ridiculous for the most part. 90% of them complain about short shorts and dual pistol. 10% of them actually complain about less challenging gameplay, rails and too much action
