On Today's Episode:
Feeling stuck and uncertain about how to break out of the routine you’re in is more common than you know. The road to success still starts with one step and watching this can be your step one if you’re willing to follow through with action.
Instead of spending time frustrated trying to discover your passion, understand that passion is developed and cultivated. It’s a decision to pursue and follow your curiosity.
Before you shave off one more hour from your sleep tonight, realize that you aren’t doing yourself any favors. Tom is adamant about diet, exercise, and sleep. It’s what allows him to execute at such a high level consistently with clarity of mind and complete focus.
This episode is a masterclass unto itself and covers everything from getting the right morning routine to getting so good you can’t be ignored or denied.
The only question now is, what do you want and what price are you willing to pay to get there?
“There’s a gap between who you are today and who you will need to become in order to execute against your why.” -Tom Bilyeu
QUOTES:
“For anybody that wants to achieve something extraordinary in their life, the third thing you need to focus on is mindset, the first two are diet and exercise.” [2:03]
“To get the most out of my day, to make the most of whatever hours I’m awake, I would rather be super sharp and well-rested, than try to wake up really early, be tired, be slow, be miserable…” [6:44]
“It is insanely important, and I believe that you can get ahold of your emotional states [20:11]
“Fear of confrontation, [...] part of that fear is coming from you having a vision of yourself that you’re worried will be diminished…” [24:16]
“Instead of trying to come out of the other side of confrontation looking cool or being right, [...] go into that confrontation with a desire to find out what is really true, what is really optimal…” [24:37]
“In the process of gaining hat mastery and fanning those flames it became a passion, but it wasn’t a passion right off the bat.” [29:47]
“You need to speak in a way that draws people in.” [36:42]
“The truth of the f*cking world is that until you take ownership of everything in your life, until you stop making excuses and blaming anybody, you will never go as far as you could go.” [39:45]
“Don’t worry about convincing people, meet them with compassion, [...] understand that a fixed mindset is its own punishment.” [41:36]
“You can never have two top priorities, [...] that doesn’t mean that there aren’t multiple things that aren’t important, but there can only be one top priority.” [42:48]
“You can become anything you want to become.” [46:52]
“We’re not judged by our intentions. We are judged by what we actually accomplish.” [56:27]
“Who you are today does not predict who you can become.” [1:03:42]
“There’s a difference between happiness and fulfillment, [...] fulfillment is often born of suffering, it’s about doing the things that are hard.” [1:21:45]
“A little bit of beating yourself up actually probably does move you towards your goal cause it kicks you in the ass and gets you moving.” [1:30:22]
“The second I give my power away to somebody else, I’m now at something else’s mercy.” [1:46:17]

Have you tried nootropics? I have a very mentally demanding job and I fight to get enough sleep. I have a couple of good nootropics stacks I make myself, that I swap off between. 1. 20mg Vinpocetine, multi B vitamin, 100mg caffeine, 2 grams fish oil. Stack 2. 10 mg Noopept, 10 mg Sunifram, 100mg Uridine Monophosphate, 100 mg CDP Choline.

Hey, Tom. In KZfaq studio can set your comments to filter certain key words and send them to be pending approval so that way the scammers can't get into your comments. Find out what words they typically use. You may have already done this but just wanted to mention it! You're literally one of my heros man. Keep up the good work.

Hi Tom, found you a few years ago and now regularly come to visit for a boost. Love your self analysis and positivity. I flew over from the UK to see Jack Canfield 13 years ago after listening to some of his tapes I feel like you have taken motivation to the next level and with the excellent guest you've chosen I think of myself as a young hearted 62 and just about to start a comedy podcast with 300 recordings of me waffling on about shit. Hope I'm not delusional, feel like this is the big one cos I feel super happy doing it and in editing (love to make people laugh) Keep up the Good stuff Tom you're making a difference in peoples lives LOVE, PEACE and GREAT SEX

I wish I could sleep. How do 9-5 people not set an alarm? It takes me forever to fall asleep and I wake easily, even when I am "exhausted" I still don't feel like I sleep well. Really hoping to break this pattern in 2023

As a 9-5 person, I had the same problem. Ive gotten to the point of sleeping on time and waking up refreshed through some of the actions in this video and the help of a product I sell in my store. Unlike the rest of the melatonin products on the market, mine helps you get better rest and hitting that deep sleep without extending the duration of sleep. So I’m up and well rested in the same 6 hrs of sleep that I usually had before. Let me know if I can help and good luck with getting your proper routine in. I believe in you!

Fantastic content Tom! Thanks for reaching back to me and my inner soul. However I have an issue finding the next goal to achieve after fulfilling my previous one. It seems after getting the first level done the most complicated thing is to find the new horizon, I completely lost the vision of my future being vanished in primary comfort allowing me to “rest a bit from hard time and efforts “. I tried many things and pushed myself into even Amazon delivery jobs just to break continuous nothingness and emptiness of ideas. The repetition of false sounding affirmations doesn’t work because deep inside I know they’re false. What can I literally do to obtain that vision of reality I want to achieve? Is this stupor somehow age related?

Love can 100% be crafted. Everyone in life follows and acts according to a certain general pattern of actions based on their emotions and reactions to situation. You jus needa be able to identify it and use it for your own advantage. Takes some trial and error lol but once you understand it,suddenly it becomes easy to make people fall for you just by adapting simple things like your choice of words, actions, reactions basically just speak their language in every sense of the way. Becareful tho it is powerful like the last girl i ended it with was lost after me she found god and is now a religious muslim who moved half way across my country to the extremist parts. Thats just funny af to me lol cause to say she was an agnostic is putting it lightly.

If I slept as long as it took to feel well rested I would be sleeping 12+ hours per day. If one is waking feeling unrested it could be due to an underlying medical condition. When I'm this fatigued it is usually indicative of reduced thyroid function.

Great tips, but unfortunately sleeping as much as you need is not always a matter of choice when you have a job to attend to and kids to look after. Your sleep schedule has to fit in - what I have accomplished is to stablish a sleeping routine so that my body is used to sleeping at the same hour every night and waking up at the same hour every morning, so it shuts down and wakes up almost without any interference, but no, I can't grant me more hours of sleep most of the time. It isn't ideal, but it's real life 🤷‍♀️
