Your running trains on a lovely layout. My layout has to be portable in a small car so that I can show it at local exhibitions.

That's a great addition to your station. They look great, and the narrow guage area is looking good, we are hoping to start on my grandson's 009 layout over the Easter school holidays. I'm sure he'll be filming and posting updates on his Dylington Model Railway channel once he gets started. Great video... Cheers James 🙂👍

Brilliant mate! Great layout too, I like modern day ones and I live in the North and I like the Northern class 156, I actually live on the Cumbria coast line

Am jealous 😂, I love that line, hoping to go upto Ravenglass on the line in August, staying in Millom for a few days, glad you like the layout and the northern 156 is one of My favourites at the moment

@@northwesttrainsmodels Yeah it's a nice scenic line, have a good time. I've got a Northern 150 and an Avanti West Coast 390 Pendolino on my layout, as well as some older trains too. No DCC sound yet though

@Michael-123 that's great, it took me a few years to get info dcc but it's fun which ever system you have, I like the northern 150s, I might swap my arriva one for a northern one some day

Your new departure board looks the part on the main line station. However, you put a big cheerful grin on my face at the end of the video. I was surprised and glad to see Lydham Manor, gorgeous girl that she is, running with the rake of Blood & Custard Mk. 1 coaches. First, for you my fine fellow: Love me or leave me, Make your choice but believe me. I love you, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do. For Lydham Manor: I ain't got nothing but love, girl, Eight Days a Week. I've bought a Beatles Closed Van from Hornby, as a tribute to my Dad, who grew up listening to The Beatles' music and then introduced me to it. Happy Beatles Day, Daddy. Sadly, my Dad is no longer alive, having committed suicide in 1999.

Glad you enjoyed seeing lydham manor and the new departure board, am sorry about your dad and glad you have a nice keep sake for him in the hornby beatles wagon, next time we may have lydham manor double headed with a mogul or prairie 👍

Quite an interesting addition to the layout. It is a pity it is a bit overscale and 20 feet above the platform! It would be more in scale on an O gauge layout. Awesome layout. Thanks for uploading.

Glad you like the layout, I nown it would be considered over scale but realistically id need a magnifying glass to see it if it was to scale 😂 it would work for 0 gauge to like u say, thanks for watching. Tom

@@northwesttrainsmodels I have thought of getting one. I think the problem of scale could be alleviated by placing it as an immediate foreground object. The fact that it is placed as a distant object exacerbates the over-scale effect!

The seaside area of your layout looks a bit like Brighton Marina. I go there often.

Hi Tom Preston have there show the same weekend as ours at Rainhill so i will never go to Preston unless one of us changes dates, your departure and arrival board looks great where do i buy them as usual something interesting every time, Cheers Alan

Hi Alan i used to go to Rainhill every time as its pretty local to me but some how the last few years i just haven't been able to make it, usually i cant get both days free at the weekend unfortunately, hopefully ill get to your winter show this year, Ill do an update when Daves ready to sell them, shouldn't be to long i think he wants to make it simple enough for people to programme there own destinations/ lines they want it based on but should be available soon, thanks for watching. Mine came programmed and it was literally just a case of plugging in the wires, I think if they become on sale Dave will do a Web page so they can be programmed to what line people want there's to run on and would be pretty simple to do
