I love the starship and the music

Please skip the crappy and jarring music if you ever upgrade the video segment for this beautiful and well-designed Beechcraft aircraft. It's sad that the Beechcraft didn't hit the market at a better time. But the fact that the Italians with Piaggio's Avanti Evo made a successful niche business with their very similar version of this aircraft helps to vindicate Burt Rutan and Beechcraft's impressive engineering efforts on this project.

The Starship One was ahead of its' time. All composite and fast, only 50 production units were built. I was able to fly from Oregon to Wichita on a Starship and never experienced a smoother flight on any non-commercial aircraft. One of the few remaining is used for air to ground photography.

I must bring back this fine bird

Errrr, well not exactly "5". I can testify, because I go past them every day, there are 6 stored at Marana Regional Airport in Marana, AZ. Yep, they've delaminated a bit, and are bound for the grinder, but still so beautiful it makes your heart go pound pound pound

I saw one in Iowa...the FAA did not know about composites so I believe they kept adding more & more weight that it because not worth using

?? at 0:19 it says 40-60mph cross wind but the original video says 20-40 mph. You should just delete this video from your channel really. The music is not in keeping with the video and the information is unreal. However well an aircraft handle, 40-60 mph crosswind ??? lol why not ust delete this.
