@Peter Very well stated. I was fortunate enough to get to see Mötorhead five times, including on Ace Of Spades tour with this classic lineup. Also saw them when they were a four piece with Phil Campbell & Wurzel, as well as with the later lineup consisting of Lemmy, Phil & Mickey three times. They were great everytime I saw them but there was nothing like that first time with Philthy and Fast Eddie- simply a force of nature to be reckoned with. Rest in peace to those three legendary musicians, I doubt there will ever be anything remotely close to them.

You certainly would have done. I saw them many times in the early days in places like the Marquee, Mornington Crescent, Roundhouse, Lyceum etc - and we always put ourselves flat against the speakers which were stacked up pretty high. You got that ear drum-damaging tingle and I am fortunately not yet deaf. I see people at live gigs now wearing ear plugs sometimes, and it's not even Motorhead. How the world has changed.

WHAT a fantastic gig from the heyday of the absolute kings of their genre - whatever you or they perceive that to be. The casual ease with which they execute their songs makes the uninitiated believe they are easy to play - but you just try it. And NO Ace of Spades, that is the highlight for me. Great song but overplayed and sadly, so many of the fans expect to see and hear it that Lemmy feels obligated to do it. I would much rather hear one - or more - of their obscure classics any day.

It's so bloody sad that none of these chaps are around no more to spread music to us. My first bought record in the real heavy music genre when I was 15 was No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith in -82. I played that poor record over and over. RIP mr Kilmister, mr Clarke and mr Taylor, and thanks for all the music. And as Lemmy has told us, the music industry mightn't been perfect back then, but way more creative with smaller record companies before everything was bought up by huge industries (and this was way, way before internet pirating, napster and stuff).

1982 Motorheadin keikka Lappeenrannan raviradalla oli todella kova ja märkä! Vettä satoi melkein vaakatasossa ja volume nupit oli kaakossa!

I saw these in Nottingham 10 years later. I also saw them in Worthing a couple of times in 1987, and I saw Lemmy playing with Hawkwind in 1986. Amazing live!

Старые концерты лучше смотреть и слушать - они живые : живой звук , свет , игра музыкантов и настоящий вокал .

I love the camera shots of the crowd going NUTS! I mean, people, literally, sweating while "banging their heads" and/or playing "air guitar" and/or "punching their fists in the air," and/or "belting out the lyrics, themselves." I'm "in the dark" as to WHY rock/metal crowds, TODAY, DON'T "get into the music" or "lose themselves in the music." In my opinion, those people must not be "real" fans. Today, UNFORTUNATELY, it's PRETTY MUCH, if NOT COMPLETELY, "ignore the music and stand there and tape the concert with your (high tech) gadget" or "stand there and look at the stage like it's a fast food menu."
